We thought the hotel was a lovely option for a weekend get away. We stayed in the upper suite and it was a very quiet, nice large room. It was a great location too as we were seeing a show at the Living Arts Centre. We did not have any meals at the restaurant there. However, if you want a... More

Went for high-tea and we were very disappointed. Although appearing beautiful on the outside, the ambiance inside where we had our tea was terrible..a small 10'x10' room with seating for 10 people at most (we were a party of 4). The tea selection was awful - 5 bagged teas. The sandwiches were flavourless and the bread tasted stale. The scone... More

Very nice hotel. We had dinner and it was excellent. Our room was on the small side but it was nice. Our room was in the Carriage house....lots of windows. The bed was very comfortable and warm..the duvet was great. There was even bath robes in the morning after your shower.

Bathroom: fan didn't work, visible dirt on the floor, shower head broken and sprayed over shower curtain and soaked bathroom Room: small even just for two people, loud (can hear each person who is walking by or talking in hall), not private at all, Staff: not personable, seemed frazzled, manager unconcerned with our stay, one waitress we had was kind... Great rooms, great staff. I love this Inn. Recommend it for business travel, family vacations or romantic getaways. Staff are very welcoming, a very warm welcome atmosphere. I stay as often as I can, home away from home.

We loved our weekend escape at the hotel. I would go back in a minute. Rooms are clean, bedding is brand new. Our windows were facing to the beautiful valley. We enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant is small and cosy. The meal was excellent! Morning walk and Swedish massage next morning... We really love it!

The Inn was built in the 1920's and still maintains that rustic charm. While we did not use the Spa, the ambiance of the Inn is conducive to relaxing and unwinding. We look forward to returning during the summer or fall as the grounds will be fantastic.

I didn't stay at the inn, but booked an afternoon facial - and it was great. Lina did a fantastic job and used some amazing smelling products. The inn itself is gorgeous and looks amazing - the only disappointment was that the staff was still cleaning up after a lunch party they had - so it wasn't the greatest to... More

This review is not based on a stay, but on the investigation we did for a future stay. We have had good luck with hotels affiliated with Ontario's Finest Inns, so when the opportunity for a weekend stay in the Toronto area came up, we looked at the GlenErin Inn first. Based on mixed Trip Advisor reviews and the fact... More

Great staff. Great service. Very friendly. Looked after us in every way. Food was excellent. Water was hot. Rooms were warm. Close to city shopping, hiking trails (complete with deer). Beautiful building with just the right amount of charm. Never had a better experience, or a better stay anywhere. We've done a lot of the Inns the last ten years... More
