I found the room was excellent very clean, as well with relocating from Vancouver to London, it had all the furniture I needed, as well as cable. The building was quiet, staff was amazing, and the location was close to my new job and to all downtown stores.

Beware of a hotel website that doesn't have pictures. You get what you pay for (about $70/night CDN). The lobby and the hallways were all grungy and looked like the carpet hadn't been replaced in 20 years. The bedrooms were also grungy. This hotel is in a perfect location for the downtown London pedestrian, and the staff was very friendly. However, our experience was reminiscent of staying at a youth hostel during the Stanley Cup. the park lane hotel has been in london forever! and you can tell. Unless things have changed, it is a wonderful place and student can call home. However, the ajoining restaurants and pubs are beyond compare!
