This hostel is better than most hostels. It's in a house with real character, unlike the more institutional setting of a hotel. It had a piano and a big TV and a great little kitchen in which to cook. The bedrooms were simple, clean, and attractive. There is a choice between dorm and private. It's a very short walk to downtown. There's free parking in the back. It wasn't crowded when we stayed and the other people there were nice. I think the owner is selective about who is welcome. She is very nice and also flexible about rates for longer stays. The price is right at about $25 per person per night. more
