We called up the hosts at 8pm and they were happy to accommodate us for the night. The room was large, with a walk-out to a screened in porch and a big ensuite bathroom as well. The queen sized bed was very comfortable and the towels were amazing (I wanted to steal them but that would have been rude). Breakfast... More

Our experience in the woods started with a stunning drive into the woods, after which we arrived at a beautiful, immaculately clean, spacious bungalow. We stayed in the wicker room, which has a view of the lovely huge back yard with its Koi fish pond and a sliding door onto the patio that opens onto the backyard. Breakfast was excellent,... More

A beautiful, spacious, modern home in an idyllic setting with quick access to Pt. Pelee National Park. The breakfast was excellent, with more than we could ever eat. The hosts were very friendly. The beds were very comfortable.

We had some friends visiting from New Zealand who wanted to see Point Pelee and Pelee Island. We needed accommodations for four with no flexibility in the dates and were really just looking for a simple, clean place to stay. Our House in the Woods turned out to be the highlight of the trip. We were enthralled by the location.... More

Our house in the woods is actually like living in a house in the woods. the entrance is covered with forest like growth and the expansive garden is surrounded with dense trees. we stayed in the basement room for a couple of days. I was a little apprehensive considering it was the basement but the moment i stepped in, i... More

#1...We have stayed at 15 different B&B's across Canada and this one is by far the best. Ben and Janet made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. It was a beautifully decorated house. We had wonderful accommodations. The "Wicker Room" was so bright, relaxing and gave us an excellent view of their lovely back yard. The outdoors, with the... More

I picked this B&B because it looked so beautiful, now I would come again because of the wonderful hosts, house and breakfasts. We stayed in the Wicker room and it was so beautiful, the bathroom was wonderful, the view was so calming. We sat outside by the pond even though it was cold out, it was so nice. The breakfasts...
