Love camping here. The facilities are always clean, play areas are clean and safe and the security is tight. I trust that my kids can be free to explore the campground and meet friends without worry. Everyone is friendly and helpful. There are many kids and adult activities such as kareoke, bingo, music, Halloween, Christmas in July, parades and crafts... More

Stayed August 29- September 1st, 2014. Booked cement pad site and we're given confirmation months before our stay, upon arrival site were changed without notification. Sturgeon woods had a fundraiser on August 1st with a silent auction, raffle and a 50/50 draw...which wasn't too much of a bother(you could participate if you choose too). Following the raffled a band played... More

Sturgeon woods has been one of our favorite camping places for several years. Our family began camping here in 2009 and we return every year and stay for at least one week per summer. I have always had a great experience with the staff and the facilities. This year we even had to take advantage of the rv service because... More

As other reviews have mentioned repeatedly, the staff here are rude, unhelpful and generally miserable. We have stayed here for 2 weeks over the past 3 summers and the campground continues to deteriorate. Free wifi doesn't work. Pool freezing, most games broken in games room, friend came for dinner and was charged 6$ to park for 2 hours! A half... More

What could be a beautiful campground is wreaked by the miserable people that own this place. You are met daily by the evil glare, when you say good morning you get ignored or stared at with no reply. They are still charging extra for the kids crafts so some of these reviews aren't accurate. I'm tempted to flip them $20... More

We first went to Sturgeon Woods Campground in 2004. Upon arriving we were informed that our emergency window in the bedroom of our 5th wheel had broken during travel. The staff provided us with material to temporarily cover it. We returned again in 2009 as Season campers. We have always found the staff extremely friendly and they go out of... More

First campground that I have been to that has an adult only pool with a hot tub. No extra fee for waterslide which saved our family a ton of money (we have three children). This place was clean and well kept. Staff was pleasant and took the time to bring us to our campsite. I would recommend sturgeon woods to... More

These people do not know how to run a business. They do not provide the park with equipment for the kids and if there is a craft to do, it costs 50 cents. We decided to put our trailer here for the season and possibly more. We pulled it out. The staff are not friendly. I have nothing nice to... More

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. Yes, it is accurate that we do not allow boating life jackets in the pool however there are many other safety flotation devices specifically designed for pools that are permitted. We do apologize for this confusion. Also, In previous years we have charged... More
