Checking in was quick. Room was large, clean, with comfortable beds. Large tv was programmed with a guide. Room's shower was the best ever. Direct access to vehilce just outside of room was convenient. Breakfast staff were both personable and helpful. Bonus of the two day visit was a Wednesday tradition of providing guest with a complementary hot meal with quality red and white wine. Server here too was not only pleasant; but very knowledgeable about wine. We will not stay anywhere else when visiting the area.

My wife and I chose this hotel as it advertised pet friendly. 3-night stay cost 642.00! At check in we were charged yet another 50.00! We were also charged 6.00 per night just to park!!! Very confusing trying to find the room as it is in another totally different building. Noise all night in the hallways, Room was half ass cleaned in fact filthy, dead bugs on floor and furniture. Keurig machine never worked even after several attempts to have it fixed. Poop stains in the toilet just after the male chambermaid had cleaned our room. Guess he decided to relieve his bowels in our bathroom before leaving. Will we ever stay here again? Not a chance. You can never make a good first impression twice. Shame on you!

Very disappointing experience. Used as one night rest stop on way home to Ottawa. We were exhausted. The air in the room was noticeably stale and musty. The smell did not improve throughout the night. Not good! The sheets were very wrinkly, but appeared to be clean. The door from the parking lot to the first floor rooms was not secure. The card key was ineffective and the door could be easily pulled open in any event. My 14 year old son said he would rather have slept in the car. When advised of the issues noted above, I was advised the hotel would waive the $6.00 parking fee. Whoopdeedoo! We have travelled extensively throughout Ontario and Quebec this summer and had good service at the hotels we have used. This is by far the worst experience we have had. I will never stay at a “Quality” Inn again.

This review has nothing to do with hotel, but they do use this booking site which is called reservation desk which I can’t find in trip advisor. Want to let people know about this site and tell them it is a scam and not to use them. My wife booked this hotel thru them yesterday and she thought she had received a great deal from this guy,( he neglected to tell her it was in U.S funds) so she called to tell me that the hotel was booked and that we would be receiving confirmation e-mail, after awhile and we did not I suspected that this might be a scam. After I got home my wife decided to call the hotel and sure enough they could not find reservation, so they gave her another # to call and after 30 minutes or more on the phone and given them all the information they needed still could not find reservation. They wanted us to book again using our credit card, we said no!!!they gave us another # to call and after 45 minutes and the same question still could not find a reservation and they wanted us to book again and we said no that we would all the credit card company and reverse the charges. After that I decided to call the original # that my wife had called and to my surprise the answering machine that they had said they had found a reservation under our phone #. After waiting a bit finally talked to someone live and they confirmed reservation, gave me details of confirmation, I ask him to send me an e-mail of reservation but after two attempts failed he confirmed e-mail address and it was wrong from original person, send me e-mail again and after looking at it noticed that it was in American funds, so said to him that after conversion this would be more than calling hotel directly. Told me that he would escalate this to his supervisor to see what they could do and I said no, so he asked what I wanted to do , keep reservation or cancel booking, so I cancel as I knew what conversion would be, send me e-mail of cancellation and said I would not be charged booking fee. We called credit card company and they confirmed refund but said we were charged booking fee of 21.00 dollars anyway. They said to call this place again to wave this, not calling this place ever again, lesson learned, They cancelled our card and will send my wife new one as this place still has ours on file, again this is nothing to do with hotel but note that they charge 50.00 a night for incidentals and 6 dollars a night for parking, Do not use this site for booking, beware Mike and Marcella. I live in Canada and this hotel in Canada, why would they charge U.S funds?

When we arrived I found a pill in the room under the desk. I always do a sweep of the room before letting my dog off leash just in case. Luckily I found it before my dog did. Unacceptable in my opinion. Receptionist said ‘oh sorry’ and that was it. The breakfast was okay, it’s a grab an go. Half the time the table was almost empty. Our dead bolt on our door also didn’t work, not a huge deal cause we had our dog so I wasn’t worried. The back entrance we used the door didn’t shut properly so anyone could’ve walked in without a keycard. Positives; Dennys was located right there, clean bathroom, clean and comfy bed, pet friendly, close to the highway, pool (just a note: did have to walk outside to the other building to get to the pool) and the price was decent. Overall I would stay again despite the things we didn’t like.

We stayed 2 nights from Aug 27 to 29. On our first night there was a big truck that unloading cargo from 10:40 to 11:35 pm at night right at our outdoor space (room 104) It was impossible for us (2 adults and 2 kids 2 & 5) to sleep, i went 3 times to the reception to tell them that this was unacceptable and the first 2 times they told me they would take care of it, the last time i was answered by the night manager that they cannot do anything as they always unload at this time. He clearly did not care that we paid rooms to sleep and if they always do this at that hour of the night, why were we not informed?? Unloading should be done at reasonable hours not when families are trying to sleep. The manager just did not care and nothing for an apology. I am so disappointed!!!

I usually try to stay in Marriott/Bonvoy hotels but there were none available. My stay here reminded me why I prefer them. This place was poorly laid out (no luggage ramps!) and otherwise adequate at best. I won't stay again

The room needs updating, paint and banged up walls. There was a turd in the toilet, so not sure how well the cleaning staff clean. They obviously didn't clean the toilet. And Ive never had to pay for parking at a motel before, so that alone makes me not want to ever book at another quality inn again. Also, the pet fee is way above all other motels I've stayed at.

RUDE STAFF: On September 5, 2020 my wife and I with our friends booked 2 rooms for two nights at this hotel. First interaction with the hotel reception was terrible. A young man was the receptionist with disgusting ATTITUDE. After payment he threw my credit card toward me. When I asked him about the break down of the fee we paid he replied back so RUDE. he did not mention about wireless nor about the covid-19 new room cleaning rules(based on request). This is true that when you sign the check-in paper you should read carefuly but based on my previous experiences at other hotels usually the receptionist explain some details for you. When the second day of our stay we came back to our room at night we found that no one cleaned our room. So I called the reception and again a young man replied rude that this is a new rule when you signed the check in form you have to see the new rule and it was mentioned there. Overall, as an immigrant Canadian citizen it was the first time that someone in Canada showed so much attitude when talking to me. I should say that the room was clean.
