This is a pretty basic hotel in a nice location on the waterfront. Views were great--especially in the morning overlooking Lake Ontario towards Wolfe Island. Bit of a musty and old smell to the place. Seen better days. Rooms okay: movie channels on TV, comfortable beds. Basic continental breakfast but at least there was some. $20 extra a day for... More

Can't beat the location - especially if you have a water view room. Great restaurant and bar options within 4 blocks and a waterfront park next door. St. Lawrence tour boat dock is right outside. When we first saw the soiled condition of the hallway carpet, we were concerned... but thankfully, the room had the look of a recent reno.... More

This hotel was quite an odd mix of quite nice (the lobby, room, view) and kind of yucky (the elevator, the breakfast, the bathroom). View was amazing, staff were nice, rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. The room had a small fridge and microwave which is always a bonus. It has a great location, close to shopping, food... More

This hotel had a comfortable and clean room, although the bathroom had drippy taps and peeling wall paper. The rest of the hotel was really pretty awful. As others have noted here, the carpets are dirty and worn out, the elevators are cringe worthy and smelly. The breakfast bar was a complete bust with coffee that tasted like dirty dish... More

In late July we stayed at Confederation Place Hotel on the waterfront in Kingston. It may be an older hotel but had been renovated recently and the rooms were beautiful and had a great view of the Fort and the harbour and the St. Lawrence seaway. Although the lobby bar and pool bar were closed (what a pity) breakfast was... More

I have reserved the microwave a week before checked in and I still couldn't get it. The bath tub and the coffee machine was very dirty. There was hairs in the bath tub and the coffee was still filled in the coffee machine. The buffet breakfast was one of the worst I tried. The choice was so limited. There was... More

We stayed here overnight because of the cost ($120 for a lakeview double room) was about $30 cheaper than the competition. That being said, it has been a long time since I've stayed in such poor accommodations which charge over $100. The hallway and carpets were extremely stained, the wallpaper in our room was peeling, the shower curtain was yellowing,... More

Good choice to make the cruise to the thousand islands on the Ontario lake. It is located few meters from the waterfront and the wharf, and offers comfortable rooms at convenient price including complimentary continental breakfast. Underground parking is available, or a public parking is located in front of it. Room is large (we had the two queens) and with... More

Stayed for two nights with my wife and our Standard poodle. Encountered nothing but understanding and help from the staff at the hotel. The room was clean and bright with a nice clean smell to it. In the future we will stay only at Confederation Place Hotel. Anyone traveling with their pet to Kingston we recomend this hotel very highly.

We stayed two nights and we were very pleased with our stay. The hotel decor is dated but the rooms and hallways are very clean. The front desk staff is very erfficiernt and there is alot of staff looking after the hotel and guests. The breakfast is included in your stay and its definitely more than a continental breakfast. The... More
