I stayed here in January 2015, I had a king size, waterfront view room. I booked online using the hotel website, with a CAA rate it was $75/night. That includes wifi and a continental breakfast. You can't beat that price for downtown Kingston. The location is perfect if you want to be downtown. The staff was very friendly, check in... More

We stayed here for one night on a weekend getaway. Friendly check-in and our room was ready early so we were able to go to our room right away. Perfect location for touring the downtown area. We would stay here again on another trip to Kingston.

Stayed the night after a wedding. Really convenient location as the wedding was on a boat cruise that docked just outside the hotel. Nice view of the lake from our room. No complaints about the room: clean, nice bathroom and, a mini-fridge for some cold drinks. Parking is a little dicey, really small underground garage and quite pricey. There was... More

I needed a room which had two double beds for a family trip we planned over the summer and got a good deal when I booked in advance. There weren't any other places that offered rooms for more than 2 adults at such good rates. We saved quite a bit of money booking one of these rooms instead of two... More

Our room was lake facing, which would have been nice except the windows were filthy (outside) , which seems to be the story at this hotel, the pool was closed due to the season, but the desk staff told me opening times for the Jacuzzi, the maintenance staff then advised me it hadn't been open for weeks as it leaked.... This is a pretty basic hotel in a nice location on the waterfront. Views were great--especially in the morning overlooking Lake Ontario towards Wolfe Island. Bit of a musty and old smell to the place. Seen better days. Rooms okay: movie channels on TV, comfortable beds. Basic continental breakfast but at least there was some. $20 extra a day for... More

Can't beat the location - especially if you have a water view room. Great restaurant and bar options within 4 blocks and a waterfront park next door. St. Lawrence tour boat dock is right outside. When we first saw the soiled condition of the hallway carpet, we were concerned... but thankfully, the room had the look of a recent reno.... More

This hotel was quite an odd mix of quite nice (the lobby, room, view) and kind of yucky (the elevator, the breakfast, the bathroom). View was amazing, staff were nice, rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. The room had a small fridge and microwave which is always a bonus. It has a great location, close to shopping, food... More

This hotel had a comfortable and clean room, although the bathroom had drippy taps and peeling wall paper. The rest of the hotel was really pretty awful. As others have noted here, the carpets are dirty and worn out, the elevators are cringe worthy and smelly. The breakfast bar was a complete bust with coffee that tasted like dirty dish... More

In late July we stayed at Confederation Place Hotel on the waterfront in Kingston. It may be an older hotel but had been renovated recently and the rooms were beautiful and had a great view of the Fort and the harbour and the St. Lawrence seaway. Although the lobby bar and pool bar were closed (what a pity) breakfast was... More
