My wife and I stayed here for four days recently and we loved our stay. The room we stayed in was comfortable, the breakfast every morning was different but always delicious and the staff were very friendly and informative. All of the modern conveniences with the charm of an older home right down to the doorknobs at a lower than... More

I stayed for 2 nights in the Carriage House" while I was in Kingston. This is more of an inn or small hotel rather than a "bed & breakfast". This large old house is very well maintained. The rooms in the Carriage House are small but clean, very nicely decorated and very comfortable. Tea and coffee are always available and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here because I had a course at queen's. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, but it meet our needs since we spent no time in the hotel. The inn is within walking distance of the downtown core which was very convenient. The breakfast was great, lots of variety and good portions. The overall... More

I enjoyed my stay at Hochelaga, as I have many times before. The location is fantastic, doors wide open, coffee round the clock and nice staff. It reminds me of places I have stayed across Europe..., feels like home but looks much better! Breakfast was a really nice variety including hot quiche the day I was there. The location, on... More

My husband and I just left Hochelaga a few days ago. We were on a two-week research trip at Queen's. The innkeepers were very nice to us and provided us sufficient and warm assistance whenever we needed. As young scholars on limited research funds, we were trying to finance our trip wisely. The innkeepers generously provided us a bar fridge... More

This is an old inn made into a b&b. The breakfast is continental (not home made) and therefore nothing to write home about. The staff is not friendly and treat you accordingly to the price of room you are staying in. If you are not well off, don't stay here.

Dear Guest: I am truly sorry you did not feel welcome. We are very well known for our friendly service and receive cards of thanks regularly as well as many e-mails saying how much they enjoyed their stay. There are many guests who do not use Trip Advisor and find the guest book of comments and cards of thanks more... More

This is a great old home that could be a great inn and it seems to have been just that at one time. Maybe the depressed economy is taking its toll. The small touches in the guest rooms are missing so rather than feeling pampered it was like staying at your grandmothers old place. Breakfast was not good. The sliced... More

I spent two weeks at Hochelaga Inn, while working at Queen's University. I quite enjoyed being there. Everyone was extremely nice and it felt like being at home. My room was in the coach house and was spacious. The room walls are thin and you can hear slight noise from other rooms, but not enough to be a huge problem.... More

My husband and I enjoyed a terrific weekend getaway at this lovely well appointed Kingston Inn with its intriguing nooks and crannies, bright carpeted stairwells, seasonal colourful decor and period furniture. Our room was large, quiet, beautifully furnished, with a sofa for relaxing and a table for the computer. The bed was luxuriously comfortable. A substantial breakfast (loved that fritatta!) was...
