We just had a real pleasant stay at the Howard Johnson Inn in Kingston. The receptionist Lisa was very helpful and a pleasure to meet even though she could not provide us with and Ocean View Room. LOL The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable and there plenty of towels. The pool was not that big and it was... More

My family stayed there last week and I got a really good deal ($65 for 2 nights). The package included continental breakfast for 4. It was in a run down part of town and they were doing construction on the street (on the last day they started the jack hammer at 7:30 a.m.). I would recommend this hotel if they... More

Stayed here what was supposed to be for 2 nights but checked out after 1 night. Run down hotel with outdated rooms, uncomfortable beds, cheap towels, smelly old carpets in the room and the worse of all A/C units that sounded like rumbling prop engines. We checked out after 1 night - couldn't take another nights stay on this property.... More

My husband was amazed at he rate I got for this hotel and even that I'd have chosen it but you have to cut costs somewhere on a trip like ours. We were both really impressed by the staff who were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and although there were some stains on the floor where... More

My husband and I stayed at the HoJo in Kingston. We were on a budget, and they had the best rate considering the hotel's proximity to the lovely waterfront area of town. The location of the HoJo is not great - I wouldn't want to walk around by myself at night - but it's within walking distance to the nicer... More

Just spent 2 nights here. The room seemed clean enough, but dropped a top down back of the dresser and there was so much dust I could not posibly wear it before washing again. Then the empty beer bottles linsed up... I was in room 112. The fridge took at least 8hrs to become cool, had to put drinks in... More

We stayed here in June 2012 for two nights . The rooms were plenty big enough for four with very comfortable beds , large bathroom and the continental breakfast was also very good . The hotel / motel has recently been refurbished so it was very good. The staff were very pleasant , helpful and knowledgable about the surrounding area.

This refers to a 2 night visit in August 2011. I mainly chose this as it was the cheapest, in a good location for walking to the town centre (about a mile), and seemed to have not so many bad reviews. I wasn't expecting too much, but it really it was excellent value for money. On arrival, a nice chap... More

They have done a great job refurbishing this older motel. New bathroom, new beds, new TV, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron & ironing board. Even new windows; however, one of the two windows in the room wouldn't lock. Also the window in the bathroom wouldn't lock. The phone wouldn't work dispite having it fixed twice! It would work briefly,... More

We chose this place to stop over on our way to Niagara Falls. Since we were traveling with young children, I did not want to subject them (or my husband and I!) to a six hour straight drive in the car. This place delivered on the things that matter - the quality of the beds, the cleanliness of the room... More
