I stayed in this hotel 20 years ago and then again recently on a trip to Kingston. While 'never'changing' can be charming, it is less to when it is related to maintenance and u-keep. While we had no complaints about our stay (quiet, clean, comfortable, good location, friendly and helpful staff), for over $200 a night, I would expect the... More

Enjoyed our time here. Great location. Between downtown and Queen's. Probably closest place to Queen's. A bit dated but some people call this character. We were in 306 king room which had a sitting room and very comfortable king sized bed. Old fashioned tub. Parking limited as only 4 spots for About 20 rooms so parking on street is the... More

We stayed here for two nights and can honestly say it was a unique experience. The hotel feels a little like a museum (a nice one!) and from reading the room information it certainly has an interesting history. We'd normally choose a more modern hotel but we're really glad of our choice. Our host was welcoming and very kindly upgraded... More

We stayed here last Saturday and Sunday nights and loved it - from the beautiful decor and furniture to the most comfortable bed and finally to the service. We were fortunate in the weather and could have our breakfasts out on the beautiful terrace (glass tabletops were SO clean). We had booked a room with a double bed but were... More

Definitely not worth the rate. Rooms old, tired, in desperate need of TLC. Though lovely to breakfast outside, the service was painfully slow ESPECIALLY since all they serve is mini boxed cereal and store bought English muffins. And terrible coffee! Very happy to see myself to the door.

I would rate this hotel 3 1/2 stars. My husband and I stayed here July, 2014. It appealed to us because we dislike the impersonal nature and expense of the large chain hotels. The room was large and clean and the bed was comfy, but the bathroom was the tiniest one we had ever seen in a hotel (I think... More

The Owners were very friendly and accommodating. The location is a little further than right off Princess Street but still vey convenient. We left early before breakfast but were offered coffee. Well worth the value, we recommend the Hotel Belvedere

We stayed here for our anniversary and we very pleased with the quaint, historic setting. This place had outstanding accomdations. Our room was huge, it was two rooms with two bathrooms. The service was top notch and very friendly. It was a quick 10 min or less walk to information center. We would stay here again.

We just stayed one night this past weekend. The front desk staff when we arrived was lovely; when we asked where we could get a coffee near by she made 2 to go for us. We had no issues checking in. The room was fine. I agree with other posters that there is a lot of charm to the property... More

Great hospitality, delicious breakfasts served on the patio in the morning, cute and comfortable rooms! I've gone here 3 times, none of them have disappointed! I would recommend it to everybody! (Obviously since I've been there 3 times!)
