this hotel is conviently located within eyes view of the train station, which apparently is very busy, at ALL hours of the day and NIGHT! if you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. although the pool has a slide and lifeguards (which is awesome), there is so much chlorine that it is impossible to swim... more

Stayed at the Ambassador over Valentines weekend and it unfortunately wasn't a very good experience. There was a girls ringette team staying at the hotel so it was noisey until late into the night. The jaccuzi in our room did not work and there was an odd odour in the hallways. We were away from the room all day and... more

My wife and I stayed there for one night, the room was great, the staff were helpful and the location was easy to get to from the 401. It is located close to stores and restaurants. Ange & Liz, Ottawa more

Great lobby. The decor was nice, clean room, great bathroom and good beds. But there were adjoining doors from ours and the one next and could be opened if unlocked, not very settling. Our room was right next to the elevator so you hear the hustling and bustling and the up and down of people and the elevator the whole... more

We stayed at this hotel many years ago when our children were young and we all remembered it as an upscale hotel. Maybe it was that then or maybe it was just that at that time it was pretty fancy for our budget, but this time our stay was somewhat disappointing. The room was fine; nicely furnished with a very... more

We only stayed here as the usual hotel used by our tour group was fully booked. Location is probably of little concern if you come by car but if you don't then don't even think about staying - it's in the middle of nowhere!! We stopped to drop off our luggage at 1230 and when we arrived back at 1700... more

I went to Kingston for work and was lucky to get a free upgrade from the standard guest room. The room was very clean but also very average for the price asked. I would never paid for this expensive room. more

My family and I visited Kingston for a family reunion the week of August eighth through the fifteenth. We reserverd four rooms. Each room was spacious and well made. The hotel was clean and the staff very personable. We stayed in the northern tower which we were informed had been recently remodled and a/c placed in each room. The tower... more
