Having read a few reviews of the Queens Inn I was a little hesitant in booking it but got a good rate and really liked the location so we went for it. I really liked the history of the hotel (around before Canada was a country) and the cosy rooms. Room was clean, bathroom too. Beds were clean and it... more

The hotel old but clean. The walls are paper thin. We paid over $180 per night because all the major hotels would only allow a 2 night min booking because of the Jazz Festival and Queens home coming. I would stay at the hotel again if the rates were a little less. They do have a restaurant and bar downstairs... more

I stayed two nights at the Queen's Inn and I would not recommend this hotel. On the plus side, it is very well located in downtown Kingston and the rooms are very clean. However, there are too many downsides to this hotel. The rooms are extremely small. There is barely space for the TV and the bed, no room left... more

I stayed at the Queen's Inn on a weekday in August and found it very pleasant. The room was basic with two queen beds, desk, night table, round table and three chairs, but very clean and comfortable. There was a three-piece bath; small TV. The sloped ceilings and skylight gave it some character. The bed was fine. The best thing... more

I booked with The Queens Inn this past weekend. I had wanted to introduce my boyfriend to wonderful Kingston, Ontario. One of my favourite Canadian cities. Being on a tight budget, I chose this hotel because it was affordable and because I had read some nice reviews on Trip Advisor. This hotel adversities "ample parking". What they neglect to tell... more

I am currently in contest of third-party billed calls from my hotel room which totalled approximately $300 for what I expected would be approximately $7 by using my Bell Calling Card and dialing direct. The hotel says they do not use another telephone service, but, Triton Global Business Services (the third party on my Bell bill) says they do and... more

Since this gentleman`s stay we have yet to have 1 complaint with our telephone billing system. if anything we have always offered low long distance rates compared to the major chain hotels. We also offer free local calls. Our bookings are up dramatically this year because even in the face of this recession we will go to any length to...

Good things: - Quiet, clean - friendly staff - free wi-fi - free parking (but only 2 parking lots,...) - walking distance to port, promenade, restaurants Bad things: - Small room (but really nice and clean) - No elevator (our room was on 2nd floor) - Breakfast included but only toast, jam and coffee/tea more

I stayed at this hotel for two nights recently and would not recommend it to anyone. The room was tiny, they said it would be $119.00 a night but at checkout I was charged 139.00 a night. I could have slept in my car for all the room had to offer. Couldn't swing a cat in the bathroom, the shower... more

We weren't sure what to expect out of this Inn, but turns out it was really nice. They spent the last 9 months renovating it and it looks fabulous. Very clean, very cute, quaint rooms. Great price in comparison to what's around in the area. I would totally stay there again. Just however, don't expect much out of the "included... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night and were very pleased with the choice. Family owned and one of them are always there, very helpfull. There are only 30 rooms on top of the resturaunt, bar, patio below, small rooms but all renovated, clean and comfortable. The Inn is only three blocks from the waterfront, so just park and... more
