We stayed in the Queen room - it was lovely and very nicely appointed with a restful jacuzzi, a cozy sitting area, a four poster bed, a decorative fireplace, warm knotted rugs- the focal point is the beautifully restored ceiling mouldings. Location is poor, on a noisy road, room (Grand View) was okay, service very poor, cost: very expansive: not worth the price at all. Small bed, no water pressure in the shower, limited parking, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I would not recommend to anyone to stay there. We were very disappointed. more

All of the rooms at the Norfolk Guest House are luxurious, very comfortable and by far the nicest in Guelph, but the Grandview and Penthouse rooms I've stayed in are probably the most sumptuous and comfortable hotel rooms anywhere in Southern Ontario, e.g. easily beating the $400/night Deluxe Suite at the King Edward Hotel in Toronto I'm staying at tonight... more
