We originally booked for a wedding that got cancelled but as it was our anniversary we kept the booking and went anyway (a bit early for wine tours but......). As it turned out most of the wineries and vineyards were open, just not serving any extensive food/lunch in their restaurants until May time. Montrose Inn in a great place, ran... More

I stayed here while I was waiting for my furniture and effects to arrive from Europe. This process took just over a month. It was wonderful to have a full apartment for this time, to call my interm home. Wayne and Dianne made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend staying here either for a visit on a... Wonderful period Inn, beautifully restored by the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble, comfy bed, great breakfast and conversation. Throughly enjoyed our stay would highly recommend this B & B to anyone wanting something more personal than a motel room.

Wonderful place, out of time. A South Georgia-style mansion, like the one you can see in the film... More

After being blessed to find my friend that I haven't seen for 29 years we decided to meet half way which happened to be in Bellville Ontario. My dear friend found Montrose Inn by googling. My goodness what a lucky find! Denise knew what a special meeting this was for both of us so she had our tea set up... More

What a wonderful trip back to the days of Gone With The Wind. The southern style B&B is amazing and the hard work and attention to detail pays off. The hosts, Dianne and Wayne, make you feel right at home. They are both very warm and welcoming! Our room was beautiful, bed very comfortable, and very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious... More

I spent 3 days here for a conference did not spend the night though. The inn keepers gave us a full tour and history of the inn. Every room in that house has a story. The original finishings have all been restored. The honeymoon sweet has a modern jacuzzi tub in it. I loved every moment I was there. The... More

Great sleep, great breakfast. I would have preferred to be in one of the two bigger rooms that have the big bathtubs, but our room was very pleasant. The house is very gorgeous. Love how it was furnished.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Montrose Inn to visit my mom who lives in Trenton. The Inn is a lovely example of antebellum architecture built in 1916. The Inn is a luxury bed and breakfast and is also available for intimate weddings, private dinner parties business meetings and afternoon teas by reservation. The inside of the Inn... More

We spent one night in this lovely antebellum home. Diane, the owner, was simply lovely, showing us around her home and sitting with us at breakfast. The breakfast, by the way, included a delicious quiche, delectable muffins, fresh fruit and every beverage imaginable. We stayed in the Graham suite which was lovingly decorated and very comfortable. Every room has access... More
