Loved this bed and breakfast.....it was nature within nature........ with its' gorgeous wood finishing all over, the floor to ceiling windows, veranda, beautiful gardens, pristine and large outdoor saltwater pool, hot tub and access to all sorts of nature trails and activities waiting for you, (with a ping pong table to boot!). Tricia and Doug were very warm and helpful.... More

Before going to Forks in the Trail B&B, I did my "home work": read reviews, got friends' recommendation, and cyber checked the place. Nothing prepared me for what I experienced... The place is a dream! From the comfy (very) clean rooms and the great swimming pool area to the delicious breakfast. I'm quite picky about details such as good mattress,... More

We like staying in Bed & Breakfasts as an option to hotels when we travel within Canada. This summer, we decided to go back to Forks in the Trail, a Bed and Breakfast we stayed last March, during winter time. I remember having a great experience during winter, but this time we had a blast! Tricia and Doug, with their... More

We have been to Fork in the Trail last March for the first time. We loved it so much that we decided to go back this summer. What a lovely stay! The perfect weather and the nice pool were such a nice treat! Tricia, Doug, and Buster (their cute Labrador) made us feel at home. Tricia is a great cook,... More

Doug and Tricia are superb hosts with a lovely home and especially wonderful skills to meet your needs without being over zealous. The home is set in a spacious landscape and when we were guests there was feet of snow. Great if you love the stuff as we do. Also not far from ski areas and good restaurants but definitely... More

We truly enjoyed our stay. The place was like an oasis. The owners are amazing people. The breakfast was one of the best ones in my life. The house has a charm, so do the owners. There is a lot to do in the area: We enjoyed snowtubing at Horshoe Valley Resort, which is located five minutes drive from Forks in... More

Tricia, Doug, and their lovely black lab, Buster, made us feel very welcome and gave us valuable tips from where to eat to places to visit. The hot tub was a great treat after a day skiing (and falling down). I really regret not having booked a massage though. Our weekend at the B&B was perfect and relaxing. We look... More

We met up with friends for a reunion and had a wonderful stay over two nights. We had lots of room to hang out and chat in the spacious living room. Our hosts were most hospitable. We felt like teenagers, hanging out talking, while all our needs were being taken care of! Luxury.

What a fantastic afternoon, evening and morning. After putting our things in our room we headed outside, snowshoeing through the trails. We got a little lost, and a had a lot of fun! Once we found our way back it was straight to the hot tub where we soaked up the heat and the sunshine before heading in for tea... More

Tricia and Doug made us feel very welcomed into their home/B&B. It is a gorgeous building with a beautiful property. They were very helpful in recommending a restaurant in Orillia for us, Art stores to visit the following day and trails to hike. It is a great place to be if you like the outdoors. Tricia was even kind enough... More
