Appreciated owner Dan and his chef opening for lunch 3/4 hr early to accommodate two travellers from Manitoulin who had eagerly anticipated the visit, but weren't aware of the hours. Delicious fish & chips, great coleslaw, and interesting garnish of thinly sliced cucumbers presented in a carved lemon "basket". An immaculate establishment with plenty of character, overlooking the water! Good... More

Spent two nights at the facility now known as The Britt Inn while traveling on business. My girlfriend accompanied me. Upon our arrival, we looked out on the river that the hotel faces, and saw a deer swimming across it. The deer emerged from the water, shook off, and moved on. It was a beautiful experience to begin our trip.... More

We were coming home from dog sledding. We were Starving but had no clue where to go or what to eat! We saw a sign for the Britt Inn and took a chance. We were warmly greeted by who we learned were relatively new owners, trying to revamp the Inn. We had absolutely delicious home made soup and a nice... More

We have visited the Little Britt Inn many times as we have a cottage nearby. We had friends visiting for the weekend and have talked about the Inn many times, so they were excited to finally have an opportunity to see it for themselves... Dan and Nicole had done an incredible job of refreshing the Inn, it feels warm and... More

I have been freinds with Dan since childhood and I know many people will think my opinion biased but I can honestly say that I was impressed with the work being done to bring The Britt Inn back to it glory that it must have had in its heyday..Knowing both Dan and Nicole and having been a guest at their... We hadn't been back at the Inn since Jim left and we were curious to see what it would be like. We weren't disappointed. The place is now in the hands of Dan and Nicole and they have refreshed it without loosing any of it's special charm. We received a warm greeting from Nicole and she was a gracious hostess... More

For everyone reading this, the below reviews are now not valid, there is new management and they are wonderful. Fully revamped the Inn, bright fresh paint, clean, tidy, beautifully decorated. It is now known as THE BRITT INN. Give them a chance and stop by! Grand opening to the full public is December 17th, 2011! Stop in for a meal,... More

It was a Monday and my Wife and I were heading home from the French River area, as we had done many times before, when we approached the billboard for The Little Britt Inn, as we had done many times before. However, this particular time, instead of continuing, we turned off hwy 69 and made our way to the village... More

My husband and I stayed here June of 2011. The room up the stairs was beautiful. It overlooked the gazebo and shoreline across the road. It was clean and very attractive, being a bedroom and a little sitting room, with magazines and such. A bed and breakfast type of place without the free breakfast. The lunch we had there was... More
