We stayed in the HBC cottage at the Lodge at Pine Cove with my husband and parents for 2 nights in early September 2014. The cottage was beautifully decorated with a wonderful view from the patio onto the water and was very well equipped. There are some great trails behind the cottages with scenic views which our golden retriever especially... More

If it weren't for the food, I would undoubtedly give this lodge 5 stars. We stayed at the Radisson cottage this past week (early September) and the experience was heavenly. Beautiful view of the cove from our king sized bed. Quiet and peaceful nature surroundings. Went out on the canoe and kayaks. Swam in the water. It was really lovely.... More

This place lives up to its reviews...there's not much more I can add. Staff, cottages, lodge, river, wildlife....all wonderful. Perfect for our children aged 8 and 13....and us. We stayed in Dokis cottage - soooo nice. We'll be back.

This is not your typical up north cottage resort- this is a luxury get away in a beautiful location. The cottages are beautiful - we stayed in the Mackenzie. Like many, it has a wonderful screened in porch high above Pine Cove. Perfect for breakfast or a late afternoon glass of wine before dinner. DInners were wonderful - healthy, fresh,... More

My husband and I spent 4 days at the Lodge, and had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Des Grosilliers cottage, which was heaven. Beautiful views, comfy king bed, an indulgent copper soaking tub, and large screened in porch, along with the amazing breakfast hamper made our stay so comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, even including plastic... More

This is our fourth trip to the cove with our two children, now 9 and 12, and once again we had an amazing time. Being "off the grid" (ie. no phone, internet, or TV) while still having excellent comfort allowed us to once again have the chance to bond as a family. This year gave us a opportunity to catch... This was our first visit to The Lodge, and certainly won't be our last. We stayed in the Radisson cottage for 3 nights, and it was simply perfect (aside from the mosquitoes, which seem particularly bad this summer. But The Lodge has even thought of that: this is the only place we've ever stayed with a screen porch on the cottage.... More

Great staff, beautiful accommodation, wonderful paddling, and delicious food. My only complaint was that my trip was too short. Stayed in the Radisson cottage... definitely worth the upgrade fee from the other studio cottage (Brebeuf) as it has a beautiful view of the water. Will definitely be back.

We just returned from 4 fabulous days at the Lodge at Pine Cove...6 adults and two children (one an 8 month infant). We reserved three cottages for the family getaway and everything was perfect. The cottages are spotless and well-equipped. For meals, we chose to eat 2 evenings in the main lodge, cooked one evening and had a BBQ'd dinner... More
