Im reading the reviews on here and I have to think the favorable ones must be shills or Alec or Stephen Baldwin themselves. What a dump!. The hottub was dry as a bone. The indoor pool was messy and cold. The sauna didnt work. As for the room. Old linens, musty smell, dirty carpets and pillows that in no way... More

Great food, great accommodation and grounds, lots to do, and seven nights of wonderful sleeping bliss! Our resounding compliments to owners and staff, so kind, helpful, attentive and personable! We will recommend to everyone we know, to be sure!

Gordon Ramsey would be able to make the best episode of Hotel Hell ever at This "resort". I've stayed in hotels in the armpit of Uganda with better service. I shouldn't be given a lecture, by the owner, if I ask for more toilet paper.

Reading some of the other reviews, I am shocked! No other word for it. I must don't believe them...could they have the wrong place, were they just a family of complainers, and were they even telling the truth? Anyway, I had a very nice stay at The Baldwins and I would recommend it to anyone! The resort is clean, comfortable,... More

Two-nights wasn't enough at this charming resort; simple, friendly, and a well-kept beautiful property on Lake Rosseau. My daughter and I sat on their dock, coffee in hand, and enjoyed our early mornings relaxing and reading. Food was delicious, service attentive, rooms comfortable, and we will be back for sure!

My family and I went to the baldwins "resort" for a family reunion with 50+ people(the inn keepers where aware of the huge group we had), when we arrived we were not impressed with the overall look of the so called "resort". The rooms are outdated, the was no hot water (a family member had to find the water heater... More

Don't know if this resort is for everyone, as it is quaint, in the country, laid-back, and simple, but it was perfect for our family. We took the kids for the weekend and really enjoyed it all, food, swimming, canoes, and even some tennis! Very reasonable rates, good value for the money. Will definitely be back.

Grounds were nice. The immediate area of Windermere is nice. Pillows and Bed were good. I reserved our room approx. 3 months in advance. Was offered a breakfast/dinner Meal Package, so we booked that. A week later they adjusted our reservation to accomodation-only without meals because "we have no guests booked for those dates at the resort, other than no-meal... More

We had such a fun time! Everyone loved everything! Friendly people, cosy rooms, beautiful lake and lots to do. We all went canoeing and the owner helped us with ideas on where to go. Ask about the waterfalls! Awesome! Nighttime we had a campfire and it was perfect. Can't say enough good things. (Indoor pool was a bit cold, though.... More
