Our first B&B and I can't say WOW enough! It was a fantastic stay. My fav part of my stay was morning breakfast. Michelle and Gail thank you so much. From the moment we walked through your door we felt like we had been friends with you for years. You have such a wonderful personality and your love for what... More

By far one the best B&B's we have stayed at. The bed was so comfortable, we overslept the first night and ended up being late for breakfast! We stayed in Max's Landing - a wonderful room with a small kitchenette that allowed us the luxury of cooking our own meals if desired. It had a private porch as well, so... More

We stayed in the "Pebble" room which is the smallest room for a two night stay. We also had friends who stayed in the largest suite so we got to see a few of the rooms. Our stay was delightful and the rooms wonderful. Michele and her Mom are delightful hosts who make you feel very at home and provide... More

We had the Sandpiper room for one night with lovely balcony overlooking the garden but very small but efficient bathroom. We thought Michelle and her mother charming, humorous and very good company as well as producing a wonderful breakfast. Yes it is different to sit down with other guests at breakfast but we thoroughly enjoyed the convivial company and slightly... More

Really nice, comfortable and quiiet room. Host really helpful with recommendations for area, and knowledgable about the history and current events in Pictou. Excellent full breakfast, with great pastries, fresh fruit, good coffee etc.

We stayed here one night, en route from Annapolis Royal, with a stop to do Tidal Bore rafting on the Shubenacadie River. We got to the B&B a little on the late side (8:30p) yet Michelle was waiting and very friendly and accommodating. We are a family of 5 and rented 2 rooms(Jacob's Dory - big, 2 Q beds, mini-apt...and... More

Very Clean, friendly B&B. Michelle is a great host with lots of friendly energy..Just what you need when you are far away from home. Clean rooms with a great balcony with cosy chairs to sit out. All their recommendation were awesome for the small town on Pictou Nova Scotia. Lots of history and they are renovating the small town..it is... More

My wife and I stayed at the Evening Sail on 29 July, in the Seashell room, complete with king size bed and external deck, all clean and well presented. The property is quite quirky which matched the outgoing personalities of hosts Michelle and Gail. The 'farmhouse' style breakfast of all guests sitting round a communal table is brilliant for an... We stayed here over 2 years ago and decided to write a review after we had been ranking the best B&B's that we had stayed in, the entire family agreed that this was the best. The rooms were very spacious, decorated to a high standard and providing good facilities. The breakfast was delicious, especially enjoying the freshly baked pastries. The... More

We stayed in the Jacob's Dory room, which was upstairs in the separate building. What a wonderful place to stay! Huge room with 2 double beds, a living room area, and a kitchen. We had a great view from the balcony. The beds were very comfy. Breakfast was quite yummy and the conversation was lively. Coffee, juice, homemade muffins and... More
