We happened on the Auberge Walker Inn as a last-minute stopover en-route to Cape Breton - and it was a great surprise.....beautiful location, friendly service, lovely accommodation...would highly recommend it! Wish I were back there now!

This is a fine, friendly Inn. The proprietress is quite helpful. The property, a reconditioned old Inn, is quite charming and well-furnished. It is located close to all the attractions of the town. The only drawback is that it has three floors of rooms, and no elevator.

If you are going to cross sea from P.E.I to New Scotia by ferry, or just travelling to of from the Cape Breton Island, and need a night stay, try to reach the town of Pictou and then be prepared to find a fine stay in the Auberge Walker Inn.
