I have stayed at the Residence Inn Halifax numerous times over the past four years. Every time has been great. Nice roof top terrace with barbecue. Close to grocery shopping and lots of bars/restaurants nearby. Highly recommended. Rooms on the 5th floor have direct access to the rooftop terrace. All rooms have kitchens but only the one bedroom suites have... More

Had a beautiful suite and have to say the hotel was lovely, and the staff were wonderful. Location is great and very central in downtown. Great location for visiting Neptune! Visited on a great package deal. We will definitely return again!

No problem with the Hotel, it was very good, but they could have had regular bacon on the breakfast menu - that would make it great. The noise from the music at the bars on Thurs, Friday nights was bad. Made it hard to sleep. The noisy motorcycles were ridiculous, but that could be heard from any hotel anywhere downtown.

This hotel is the ideal location for those participating in the Bluenose Marathon in Halifax. It's close to the start/finish/expo and even some downtown shopping (Lululemon). I recommend booking early if you plan on staying there for this particular race. The continental breakfast was awesome!

Arrived at 7:30am from a long flight and was able to check in for three nights. Every morning they offer an extensive breakfast buffet. Porridge, make your own waffles, cereals, scrambled eggs, potatoes meats, breads, fruit, yogurt parfaits, fruits, juices, coffee, tea, etc etc. Changed slightly each day to keep it interesting. Lots of places to sit, never overly crowded.... More

Originally I was booked at the Courtyard but I was less than impressed with the check in. I immediately called the Residence on Grafton. This hotel is a great location and the staff are the best. Very helpful and caring. The free breakfast is great and fresh and the breakfast area is very well designed. The kitchen staff were all... More

I have been staying on business at this hotel in Halifax at least once a month for more than a decade. Quite simply it is the ideal choice for both business and personal options. It's close to all my business meetings and appointments and surrounded by excellent dining and entertainment venues. The staff is the best in the province...and I... More

Every winter in January about 15 colleagues and I leave our homes in warm, sunny Florida for cold, snowy Halifax, NS with a large research aircraft to do satellite calibration and validation work out over the cold and dark North Atlantic ocean - a task that is not for the faint of heart. But then, we are Hurricane Hunters during... More

I really am not high maintenance, but I have stayed here a few times now on business and its just not doing it for me. First, for a residence type hotel, where you would expect more business folks to stay, there is no business center. There is one stale-dated computer in the lounge with printouts going to the reception office.... More

We stayed here in a one-bedroom suite for two nights in January, 2015. The service was generally good and the room acceptable but basic in amenities (note, though, lack of adequate heat or any heat control in the bedroom). However, the unit looked out onto a street corner with three or more local bars which continued their noisy street disruption... More

Thank you for your feedback Karen P. We do greatly regret the disturbances you experienced during your time with us from a couple of our surrounding neighbours. Sometimes, due to our location in the downtown core, with many restaurants and bars nearby, there can be exterior noise issues that are beyond the hotel's control. Our property does however have a...
