The front desek staff was very friendly and helped me with directions and everything I needed to know about halifax since I was new in town. The room was clean and it was a quiet neighbourhood. I found the Commons Inn while surfing the net. I visited the hotel's website and thought, from the pictures that it would be ok. I booked over the phone. We had arrived at the Commons Inn for 3 nights. The hotel is located 20 minute to the city (I am a bit slow walker so an average of 15). The staff is very friendly – the owners are Koreans and they had different people working in reception. Housekeeping service isn’t regular but the housekeeper is friendly.
