I found myself traveling on a budget to the eastern coast of Canada to do the touristy things. To my surprise I found myself in a small place but with a nice homey feeling. The staff was very helpful in pointing out some nearby sights (and great pub!) YA GUS's! Tucked away in a neato neighborhood I'm glad I got to discover... More

When we first arrived here I actually liked the place the staff are excellent and well mannered . When we checked into our room I got into the shower which was horrible the shower head was filled with calcium so the water barley came out . Then when I was laying down on the pillow I felt a pinch I... More

This hotel is located in a gentrifying neighborhood. You will encounter hipsters and street people, not a big deal if you come from a big city. Check in was quick and the guy from Vancouver was very helpful with maps and places to see. However the other guy at night isn't very friendly. Even though we passed each other a... More

Everything about this hotel/inn is acceptable but we never expected we would find a 4 story hotel without an elevator. To be fair it is an older structure that would be costly to retrofit but for older travellers at the very least ask to be placed in a first floor room. Even these rooms require a one flight climb from... More

I rented a room for a week on a trip here. The location couldn't be better, well within 20 minutes walking distance to the main sights and attractions of downtown and the water front, or a quick $6.00 cab ride. If you have a car they have free parking as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the room, I had... More

Our twin room didn't have any extra space but was adequate. The shower had plenty of hot water, and there was a variety of cold foods at the continental breakfast. Free parking was also a plus. We walked about 15 minutes to Quinpool Road and found a number of restaurants there.

We stayed two nights. The bed was comfy, a bit noisy late at night, quaint furnishings and friendly staff. Breakfast was very, very basic. Coffee was just plain bad. Go to Timmy's for breakfast! It doesn't look like a hotel from the outside, so a little hard to find!

We weren't expecting a lot since we didn't pay much for the room but were surprised at how clean and comfortable our stay was! Bed was extremely comfortable, we had a nice big tv to watch and an outside deck to relax on. The place is very dated but very clean! Would stay again!
