This quaint hotel overlooking the water is staffed by the most welcoming people you could ask for. Each time I arrive here now I feel as though I am visiting friends. Keep up the great work. The Hotel certainly meets the level of comfort this Hotel Chain offers, great value.

We stayed here during a 4 week tour of the Maritime Provinces! We had a king room with a view of the harbor. Our room had a patio outside and we could park just outside the room! The room was large, had comfortable furniture and very comfortable beds with nice linens! The room was very clean and all amenities were... More

Very friendly and pleasant people at check in. Room quite snug, others might find it a bit small. Shower good, decent selection of TV channels. Do have to drive a bit to find some place to eat. Downtown Halifax just a short drive away, much of it beside Bedford Basin.

The title says it all... this is a pretty nice, though slightly-run-down hotel with a great little view of the Bedford Basin waterfront. The front desk staff this morning (November 15th, 2014) were incredible - easy to talk to, gave great advice, and just generally seem terrific at their jobs. I was hugely looking forward to the free hot breakfast,... More

We were a little disappointed with this facility. While not bad, it was somewhat run down. We had to wait for our the workers to finish painting the ceiling to occupy our room and then there was the paint smell afterwards. The room had a double entrance, one from the hallway and one exterior into the parking area. This part... More

We spent a family girls weekend and booked a 2 queen bed suite. It was a nice large room with a fairly large bathroom. We were on the back side of the hotel on the second floor. The separate queen bedroom with it's own TV overlooked the harbour. Came with a fridge, microwave and sink. It was a great room... More

This is a great place to stay, good value for your money. Free parking and free breakfast (which was very good and included many hot items). The only drawback to this location is there is not much else around. Not a problem if you have a car though and the bus stops right out front which you can take you... More

This hotel was fantastic. The indoor pool was a decent size and the water was quite warm. The room was very clean and had everything I could hope for; fridge, iron and ironing board, even Ethernet as well as wireless high-speed Internet. Now for the breakfast - this was the most amazing complimentary breakfast I have ever had. Eggs, sausage,... More

We stayed here mid-week, 7 - 9 October 2014. Although I knew it was not close to downtown Halifax, I hadn't really appreciated how far out it was - it's at least 20 minutes (minimum, depending on traffic) and it cost approximately $25 each way for a taxi. The road is too busy to confidently walk along, particularly if twilight... More
