Stayed here for 6 days, 5 nights on a work trip. Lovely setting overlooking the Bedford Basin and conveniently located. Clean, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room (single queen bed) was on the small side but just fine for one or two people and had homey touches to the decor that were much appreciated.... More

We just spent four nights in this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast had a good variety of food and the hot food was hot and fresh. There is complimentary coffee, tea and filtered water always available in the lobby as well as local newspapers and area brochures. I also... More

This was a very comfortable. The room was well appointed, having everything we needed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. Unfortunately there were no restaurants within walking distance. There were also some steps along the corridor as the hotel was built in to a hillside. This may deter some less active seniors.

Lovely place with reasonable rates. Exceptionally clean rooms, accommodating staff, and a gorgeous view of Bedford Bay -- relax in the Adirondack chairs on the veranda and take in the sunrise and sunset. There's also an indoor pool, free wifi, and complimentary breakfast.

The comfort factor was great. The view of Bedford Bay very nice especially in the morning having coffee on the deck. Breakfast great but the breakfast attendant on 2 mornings was grumpy!! Staff otherwise very accommodating. Price was right. Could use a little attention to detail on cleaning the door frames etc. Has an unusual layout as it is built... More

I stayed at this hotel using the Hospital Rate due to being in Halifax to care for a family member in the hospital and they were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and comfortable, although the bathrooms are very small, they have all necessary amenities. Free wifi, free coffee and water at any hour, and complementary breakfast... More

This was the last hotel we stayed in as we flew out of Halifax Airport two days later. The place was clean, quiet and the staff very friendly. A great hot breakfast, like I said the best on the whole trip and they had a coffee maker that worked, a fridge and comfortable chairs. I would recommend this to anyone.
