Stayed here to break up a long drive to Digby. Location good for Bayers Lake shopping, but nowhere near downtown or South End Halifax. Easy access to the highway when heading out in the morning, however. Hotel is showing its age with old bathroom smell in our room. Continental breakfast adequate. We stayed at the Bayer Lake Lakeview in Halifax the in mid December. It was a fast, efficient check-in and we were very happy with our room which was the Honeymoon Suite. stayed to see family in the city....clean and friendly, adequate continental breakfast, appreciated the coffee machine and cookies in the evening. Good value...would stay here again. Near Costco and other shopping which was a nice plus.
