We had a wonderful stay at SeaWatch B&B, the view was perfect with great nautical ambiance. We enjoyed our night out on their pier watching a sailing regatta. In the morning we were served our breakfast in these wonderful shells. A great experience and worth a stay. Thanks Elaine for your wonderful hospitality. Hope to visit again soon.

We're so glad that we chose to stay at SeaWatch. It was right on the water, within view of Halifax. Elaine and Stan made us feel so welcome. To say that the room had a nautical theme is an understatement...It was like actually staying on a pirate ship. The details were incredible! Every time we came back to the room,... More

If you enjoy a down-to-earth experience by the seaside this IS the place. Comfortable room, private patio overlooking the entry to the Halifax port, & dock from which to fish, if that's your wish. Watching a spectacular sunrise across the bay to the southeast, you can imagine yourself in a quiet wilderness; turn to the north & the lights of... More

If you love all things nautical, this is the place for you! The SeaWatch is in a convenient location to downtown Halifax and to neighboring Peggy's Cove, while far enough off the beaten path to provide beautiful views, along with peace and quiet. Stan and Elaine are gracious hosts. Stan greeted us and carried both our bags up the stairs... More

Absolutely fantastic B&B run by Elaine and Stan. Location is superb if you are not looking for a city centre. Close enough to Halifax but far enough away. View from the Captain's Wheel room over the harbour is stunning. The Captain's wheel is unique in the decoration all of a nautical theme including snippets of Stan's family history. Thank-you both... A truly unique nautical B and B full of family lore ie catching a shark bare handed and a 500 pound whale skull for decoration. Also a lovely hostess and incredible views of Dartmouth and Halifax. Near York Redout

As far as B&B's go this is one is worth the stay at Halifax for. The owners are friendly, accommodating and will interact as little or as much as the guest wants. They are particularly aware of certain guest requirements. There are two rooms available that are attached to the home. The shipswheel room is upstairs so if you have a... More

A truly unique B&B on Ferguson's Cove overlooking the entrance to Halifax harbor. My wife and stayed in the Ship's Wheel suite on the upper deck with grand views across the cove, spacious accommodations and a wonderful breakfast which we had outdoors on the deck while chatting with Elaine the charming and engaging innkeeper. Halifax had grown some since my last... More

During part of our stay at the SeaWatch the weather was not the best - rainy part of the time and cloudy. But Elaine and Stan made the stay very enjoyable. They had suggestions for good places to go or things to see, whatever the weather. For breakfast we were given a choice of a few kinds of cereals, yogurt,... More

We have just spent a week here and words can't say how fantastic it was. We stayed in the ships wheel suite which is absolutely bathed in nova scotia history. It is also very clean and spacious. Breakfast has lots of choices plus a choice of times. Elaine and Stan are amazing hosts and their hospitality is amazing. We had... More
