My two sisters and I went to Halifax for a birthday celebration long weekend. We stayed in the two-story studio suite room. The upstairs room was quaint with a full-size bed and the main room had a queen size bed with a sitting area. The little kitchenette was stocked with dishes and a small refrigerator and a Keurig machine. I... More

We arrived in Nova Scotia with no idea where to stay and asked at the I centre. They referred us to this hotel. It was ideal. A short walk to the wharf and so much nicer than chain hotels. A boutique hotel with old world charm.

My partner and I celebrated our 3rd Anniversary in The Halliburton Hotel and it was a wonderful experience. Since the moment we got there, we were treated very well and the food was delicious. I'll definitely recommend The Halliburton Hotel.

It was like having a flat or apartment in a cool, as in laid back neighborhood. Just right for a visit to Halifax. A meal at Stories is worth the expense and experience. Then go down the street to the waterfront or up to the public gardens or over to the Nova Scotia Gallery of Art.

The Halliburton consists of three quaint historic buildings just up the street from the waterfront. Our room had a very comfortable queen-sized bed. There was an additional room with a twin bed just off the main room. It was a large room and was very comfortable. Continental breakfast was included with coffee, fresh juice, fruit, yogurt, bagels, cereals and homemade... More

The Halliburton is a great spot to call home in Halifax. It's an easy walk to the boardwalk, the Farmer's Market and the university area. In fact, everything is nearby in this delightful city. Our room was terrific. Comfy bed and the continental breakfast was all we needed. My only suggestion is that you request a rear facing room as... More

Thank you for sharing your review. I'm pleased that you enjoyed your experience and our proximity to local universities. We are hosting many parents as they help students get settled for the fall semester here in Halifax. While street noise exists, we don't feel it is atypical of other downtown settings. Sincerely, Robert Pretty Owner, The Halliburton Hotel Halifax, Nova... More

the initial main pulling points of the inn was its location and the fact that there is parking. The service was fine - no huge smiles but the staff were polite enough. Our room was in the basement (last available room) and seems to have been forgotten - the AC was a bit of a joke and the bathroom needed... More

I stay here whenever I am in Halifax. Great location, within walking distance of the harbour front. Very good complimentary breakfast. Great value! The parking can be a bit tight, but we always manage to get a spot.

Thank you for staying with us again! A repeat visit is great reinforcement that we are doing a good job in taking care of our guests. While we understand that our parking is less than ideal, we have helpful options for those who are unable to park on-site for their first night. They get first priority for parking on subsequent... Terrific location, nice rooms, good breakfast, friendly and capable staff. We will certainly stay there again if we return to Halifax! Parking is available. Staff provided restaurant recommendations. Easy walk to waterfront, Spring Garden shopping, and Citadel.
