Location is great for walking to local shops. We had an unforgettable meal in the hotel restaurant . The food and service were impeccable. Staff is always going the extra mile for customers. The coziness of this intimate hotel wins out over larger chain hotels every time.

When walking in to Halliburton it was very home like. The staff was very helpful and friendly. One thing I can say if you can't climb stairs request a bottom level floor. We stayed in the stories package and was greeted with bottle of champagne and cheese and crackers. I would recommend the Halliburton for your next stay in Halifax

We had a wonderfully relaxing experience! The rooms were clean as was the whole establishment. Loved the patio off the room. Excellent breakfast and the coffee was superb quality. Friendly staff that were helpful.

I have stayed at The Halliburton for business travel on several occasions now in both the main building and the condos. I appreciate the friendly staff, and the clean quite rooms. There is a charming atmosphere in each room and the hotel lacks the corporate hotel vibe that always makes me somewhat restless at other hotels. The beds are comfortable... More

Thank you for your TripAdvisor review. I appreciate your repeat business and am happy to hear you enjoyed the fireplace in your room. Other guests have also remarked that our fireplace suites are great places to cozy up this winter. We do not have a pool or gym but are happy to recommend fitness facilities close by. We hope to... I enjoyed the Halliburton - great location to the waterfront and many restaurants, and friendly, helpful staff. The place is historic, the room cozy and pretty. The major drawback was that I needed to do work and there was no desk. I ended up working from a chair and using the window seat which was a bit challenging. The Internet... More

My boyfriend and I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last couple months. It's a set of charming old buildings right in downtown Halifax; within walking distance of most anywhere downtown you'd like to go. The staff are kind and helpful, the breakfast choices are great, and with parking, internet, and breakfast included, it's a no brainer. This... More

I enjoyed a relaxing 3 nights with family (sisters/daughters) as we celebrated the holiday season. Each of us had our own rooms and enjoyed the beautiful Inn - especially sitting around the fire in the main livingroom having cocktails! Breakfast each morning was very nice and more than sufficient! We look forward to next year!

Stayed at the Haliburton one night and it was lovely. We had a suite with fireplace, the decor was perfect, the bed welcoming and the included breakfast was just to my taste. The young lady at the front desk always had a sweet smile. We had dinner at Stories restaurant on the main floor of the Haliburton and it was... More

I'd recommend the Halliburton without any qualification. Prompt and efficient service.. nicely appointed room; great location, lots of character in this place. We stayed there in early December, the room was a bit cold but there was a ceramic heater included. Next time we're in Halifax, I am sure we'd stay here.

While the Inn itself has been a Halifax fixture for years I had not had the opportunity to stay, Th main entrance was grand and the entire property was extremely clean, with an elegant library. The room its self was clean and basic, yet offered everything needed. The rear parking lot was a bit difficult to navigate as the snow... More
