This is an average hotel in a good location in downtown Halifax. I find the finishes are a bit dated and the rooms are only OK. Choices to eat in hotel or many nearby restaurants. I find it overpriced for quality. Also the parking and wi-fi fees are a bit frustrating.

This is a great old world charming hotel. Fantastic location with access to wonderful restaurants and all that down town Halifax has to offer. We had a 2 day conference with round tables in the meeting rooms and ball rooms as well as breakfast, lunch and suppers. It was a great location for a meeting!

This hotel is very conveniently located in downtown Halifax with good proximity to the trains, harbour and Farmers' Market. Without exception, the hotel personnel are very friendly and helpful. Service is especially noteworthy in the hotel restaurant, Elements.
