Was here with family in early August 2014. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were compfy. Staff were very friendly. Only thing that wasn't good was the breakfast. Not a lot of choices and no protein at all. (no eggs or meat) Wifi signal wasn't the strongest in ouor room either. Other than that it was a great stay!

To be fair, we arrived at 10pm, and left early the next morning. We were exhausted and glad to have a safe place to stop after driving through the thick fog and rain from Brier Island. It would have had to have been pretty horrible to leave! I noticed the smell right away. Just that damp icky smell that old... More

A good place to stop and rest. Got a good nights sleep. Clean and quiet. No frills. But, good value. I would stop in again, next time I am in town. Good service. Breakfast was the usual fair. There is a Tim's around the corner and a plaza across the street.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in late May 2014 for two nights. It was conveniently located on Warwick St, when coming off of Highway 101 and into Digby. It was very clean & quiet. The room we had was on upper level of property. It had fridge, table for two, two beds and good quality TV -... More

My spouse and I stayed at this motel shortly before Easter and thoroughly enjoyed it. This place has been meticulously and lovingly maintained over the years. Both inside and outside everything was immaculate. The front desk staff was welcoming and very friendly. Definitely a place I would recommend. My compliments to all for a job very well done.

We spent the night in Digby after taking the Ferry from St. John. The Coastal Inn was exactly what we expected when booking there. It is clean and quiet even on a night when they were fully booked. It could use some updating but for the short amount of time we were there it was fine. You have to drive... More

We stayed in another Coastal Inn in Antigonish and had three times the room for less money. There was no coffee in the room and the towels in the bathroom were skimpy. Chair in room had filthy arms on it. The staff also asked me to enter a pre-authorization charge with my chip card of $35 over the room charge... More

This is the best word that I can think of describing this motel and I cannot see how you would rate it higher. It is quite an industrial area and seems to attract groups of working men which had the disadvantage of a lot of comings and goings. It is clean and comfortable for sure and the staff are helpful...
