This B&B looks like a typical smaller Nova Scotia heritage house but is actually a log cabin brought by settlers from New England! If you want to learn some of the history of the province from the fascinating hosts - this is your place. The room was comfortable and the whole house is restored with real antique artefacts. Perhaps not... More

Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure having you and your husband stay with us. It is always nice to hear that guests appreciate the efforts that Tony and I have done to restore the home, and offer guests a chance to experience what life may have been like over 230 years ago. Happy Travels. More

My mother, sister and I met up here for a weekend getaway and loved it. We were charmed by its 18th century looks and by the owners who generously opened their home and its stories to us. The owners also run a delicious cafe called Mag Pyes so are often there working or picking up guests at the ferry. Guests... More

Stayed during Wharf Rats and couldn't have asked for a better experience! The owners of the B&B are the nicest down people ever & the house was absolutely beautiful, highly recommend to anyone visiting Digby or the surrounding area!

Margaret and Tony were gracious hosts, accommodating our check in time to correspond to our whale watching tour. Breakfast was outstanding and delicious. Highly recommended for couples and families. Don't miss this chance to reconnect with the past. Great wifi for the kids.

This is without doubt the most interesting B&B in which we have ever had the pleasure of staying. Margaret and Tony were the perfect hosts, welcoming, friendly and helpful in every way. The house is very old and has been authentically restored with immense care by its owners. The result is a comfortable time capsule that we throughly enjoyed living... More

Incredible hosts and a stay that exceeded expectations! We're not usually the Bed and Breakfast kind of people, but we were sold after a couple of friendly chats with Margaret on the phone and through e-mail so we booked the Elizabeth room for 2 nights along with the zodiac whale watching tour (which is run by a separate operator, but... My sister and I took a trip to Digby, birthplace of our father to find his original house still standing looking over the beautiful Bay of Fundy. Along the way we were in desperate need of some espresso cappuccino and were delighted to discover Mag Pyes Cafe in Digby. The owners Margaret and Tony also run the most charming B&B... More
