My wife and I stayed there for our anniversary. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are fairly small with older style bathrooms complete with toilets that you had to jiggle to make them stop running. The rooms were however clean and we had chocolates and baileys as a hotel gift in the room. They have free shuttle... More

We went for a wedding and everything was nice, The food was great. The main hotel had a rich historic feel with the high ceilings and classic wood work. Our cabin was nice with dated furniture, but it was spacious, clean and well maintained.

Our tour group recently stayed here after spending a week in Nova Scotia and PEI. It's a classic resort in a very traditional sense. Although we personally didn't use their major amenities, we found the setting, accommodations, service and food to be excellent. There were some delays in getting us all served at the final evening's dinner, but the food... More

Grounds are beautiful! Cabin was clean with small deck with a tiny view but cheap plastic chairs and no table wasn't as inviting as it could have been. Ordered room service ... Waited an hour and the girl then told me that they have no porters till 530 or 600! She couldn't have mentioned that at 2? Buffet breakfast looked... More

A home away from home. Beautiful place. Beautiful people. We go there every summer. Very reasonable prices. The breakfast repertoire needs a bit of change over time. But what the heck. It's free with the room!

We recently rented one of the cottages at the Digby Pines for several nights. The grounds are lovely and the main lodge has lots of atmosphere. Our cottage (#17) was private and quiet, but oddly configured. It had two bedrooms and a sitting room, but one bedroom had a completely separate entrance off of the deck and no access to... More

We stayed in a large cottage and really enjoyed our time here. I was so happy to see that the interior of the cottages are updated and modern, so you can enjoy the cottage vibe without feeling like you are camping. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent and included in our rate. The staff could not have been nicer, especially... More

My husband and I stayed in Digby Pines, for several days, this past July and it was an excellent experience. The property is beautiful & pristine inside and out. Our Harbour view room was cozy and luxurious. The meals were very good. We chose the dining room overlooking the bay for our breakfasts and dinners. Some nights, we did a... More

We stayed in the Suite for a second time, because it accommodates our family of five quite nicely. It has a king bed and a pull out couch as well as two full bathrooms! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pines - board games in the lounge (we had a couple rainy afternoons), playground and shuffleboard outside. Outdoor pool... More

This is our third consecutive summer vacationing at Digby Pines Resort. It is an excellent location, beautifully situated with great views of the basin. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the rooms in the main lodge are well appointed, if a bit on the small side. Service is quite good although the dining wait staff on this visit missed... More
