The Digby Pines is perched on a hill above Digby on the road to the St. John ferry. From arrival to checkout we experienced friendly, courteous and professional staff and they made our stay memorable. The front counter staff greeted us warmly and offered suggestions for activities. The Sunday buffet was exceptional and the antipasto was exquisite in presentation and... More

Stayed here for a night in Aug prior to taking the ferry back to Portland Maine. What a great place. Classic hotel architecture, very nice grounds, pool, restaurant. Town of Digby is a nice place for a visit too. Would love to go back and stay for 3 or 4 days.

When approaching The Pines Resort you feel like you are driving up to a European Castle. The building and grounds are elaborate and well kept. We stayed in a cabin and it was modern and comfortable and included a working fireplace. It must be difficult to keep the many cabins painted and welcoming - our fantastic porch was in desperate... Resort is just a few min. down the road from ferry. Beautiful grounds and view of Bay. Front desk staff was very helpful and a quick drive into town with several restaurant choices. I also played the golf course which was in excellent shape and challenging. Buffet breakfast is overpriced, as usual for these kind of resorts, but very good... More

Great old-style (opened in 1929) resort. Has lots of nice indoor and outdoor public areas suitable for relaxing. Has a nice outdoor pool. The fitness center is the only disappointment – it has only a few, older cardio and with machines. There are pleasant walking trails and one includes outdoor, wooden exercise stations. I stayed in the hotel (as opposed... More

Recently stayed 9 nights with my husband at the Digby Pines Golf Resort while our daughter was attending the one-week French immersion program at St. Anne University nearby and we had an amazing time. The location of the resort is excellent, and the staff was wonderful. The concierge, Joey, was particularly helpful in helping us plan our daily activities and... More

The historic ambiance is not enough to counter the lack of facilities and services. There are no bar fridges in the rooms if you want to take a picnic on an excursion in the area. The cushions were not out on the patio furniture, although it was a beautiful sunny day in August! The front entrance has steps -- no... More

My wife and I stayed there for our anniversary. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are fairly small with older style bathrooms complete with toilets that you had to jiggle to make them stop running. The rooms were however clean and we had chocolates and baileys as a hotel gift in the room. They have free shuttle... More

We went for a wedding and everything was nice, The food was great. The main hotel had a rich historic feel with the high ceilings and classic wood work. Our cabin was nice with dated furniture, but it was spacious, clean and well maintained.

Our tour group recently stayed here after spending a week in Nova Scotia and PEI. It's a classic resort in a very traditional sense. Although we personally didn't use their major amenities, we found the setting, accommodations, service and food to be excellent. There were some delays in getting us all served at the final evening's dinner, but the food... More
