I stayed at Paradise Found B&B for five nights while in Sydney. My trip was to settle my daughter into Cape Breton University. We arrived late as our plane was delayed and Rick and Connie waited up for us to welcome us to their beautiful Victorian home. My stay there was most comfortable and breakfasts were delicious. The weather wasn't... More

Connie and Rick were wonderful. They made sure we didn't get lost with Connie's easy to follow maps. Great conversations with them. Breakfast both mornings were delicious and the table looked beautiful. The rooms were clean and spacious. If you are travelling to Cape Breton their B andB is excellent. The Thomsons and the Hughes

We found this B&B on the Nova Scotia Provincial Tourism website, and are glad we decided to stay there. Rick and Connie were gracious hosts in their beautifully restored home with lovely wooden staircase and delightful accents. They are very knowledgeable and helpful with their suggestions for visiting the best attractions in the area, including maps and directions. I recommend... More

Rick and Connie Bowers own this fine establishment in Sydney, NS. My wife and three friends and I arrived on Friday, July 26 for a three day stay. We were the only guests for that period and our time there was most enjoyable. Each morning about 8:30, we gathered at the dining table for a wonderful creation from Connie's kitchen,... More

Thanks to Trip Advisor, we found this great B&B in Sydney, Cape Breton, complete with "Phoenix", the giant grey tabby cat who helps host. Connie and Rick were very helpful, offering suggestions in advance of our arrival of highlights near Sydney. One highlight was a good meal at the Miner's Museum followed by a concert performed by miners, "Men of... More
