How's this for Christmas spirit... I went to your establishment on the 23rd after my two friends and I weren't able to get a taxi back to our homes. We don't live in the city and we're visiting from away for the holidays. I didn't anticipate staying in a hotel but after waiting an hour and a half for a... More

Nice, cozy place. Not the fanciest around but I found the bed was comfortable, the room had good wifi and tv. Looks like it's been refurbished since the last time I stayed there a few years ago, with hardwood flooring in the room and the outside has received a nice face lift. Competitively priced and right next to what I... More

there was a mix-up with our reservation at the Hampton Inns and only rooms available were at this place. The room was dirty, smelled of smoke, no soundproofing between rooms and Wi-Fi did not work. I would recommend this if it were your absolute last resort.

I am formerly of Sydney but have been residing in Truro for the past number of years. I make the trek home to Sydney to visit family and friends and without any questions my choice to stay is at the Martin Arms. The staff has been nothing but friendly to me and will do anything in their power to help... More

A great 'no frills' hotel. Has everything you need; a flat screen tv with cable, fridge, and microwave. found it very quiet. there is a beautiful view of the harbor and a beautiful veranda to sit and enjoy my morning coffee.

My husband and I are frequent customers of The Martin Arms hotel. We have been staying here for about 15 years. It had been about two years since our last trip so I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the beautiful new lobby and front desk area that has been completely redone. They have been hard at work updating... More

My experience staying at The Martin Arms Hotel was better then average. Very clean rooms, hard wood floors, country style beds were very comfortable! grate water pressure in shower, very wonderful staff! I would recommend staying in a room on main level on the harbour side as its an amazing morning view! I spoke with one of the owners at... More

I can't say enough about my great experience at The Martin Arms Hotel. This Hotel used to be the Meridian, however, there has been more than just a name change in recent years. The entire hotel has been renovated! Each newly renovate room has their own brand new AC and heat pump, big screen TV, new hardwood floors and freshly... More

Our stay was short notice and we checked in very late at night- looked ok from the outside and we just wanted somewhere to lay our heads. Our stay started by walking down a dimly lit hallway that REEKED of smoke, despite the 'no smoking' signs in the hall. For 2 non smokers, this started our stay off badly. Still... More

Rooms are outdated,we had the buffet.A meal fit for a homeless shelter and served by a man who looked like they got him from the homeless shelter.Staff was friendly which was a plus.If you need a cheap room try this hotel.
