Special thanks to Ann and Alex for treating us so very special. A lovely old inn full of TLC. Our hosts were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, walking paths, history of Sydney, the waterfront and new parkland where Sydney steel used to be located. Great ambassadors for Sydney. In the brief time that we had Ann and Alex were... More

I just have to write this review because my family and I loved staying here with Ann and Alex. The B&B was immaculant and the rooms were all a little different but full of charm and detail. A remodeled bathroom was attached to each bedroom. The sitting room for the guests was comfortable and spacious. The dining room was beautiful... More

An excellent place to stay. You are made feel welcome from the time you enter the front door. They can't do enough for you - just ask if you have a concern. Very comfortable accommodations - spotlessly clean, quiet, excellent, sufficient breakfast to your individual taste - great coffee and wonderful conversation. Alex and Ann make you feel special and... More

We arrived at this B&B in the rain after driving the Cabot Trail from Baddeck, NS. Our welcome at 'A Charming Victorian' was warm and helpful. We had tea and cakes before we even had our bags taken upstairs (thanks for that). Over tea, menus were produced for local restaurants and a reservation for dinner was made for us close... More
