We have been to Inverness Beach Village twice. Once in 2011 and also 2009. If the weather is good (which we had in 2009), there is nothing better. It's a secluded beach that doesn't get deep for ages. The sand is lovely but also a great collection of sea glass and rocks for the kids to collect. If you're lucky... More

We had a pop-top camper and had reserved a beautiful semi-secluded lot for 10 days. Despite the poor weather conditions (i.e. 2 beach days out of 10) the staff were quite cheerful, helpful and more than accomodating. The camper's washrooms were always clean and well kept and the grounds staff are not only friendly but also quite entertaining! I would... More

This is our umpteenth visit to the Inverness Beach Village, and we continue to find it THE place we want to spend our summer vacation. This year we were treated to a pod of whales on our last evening. They were closer than we've ever seen them before and frollicking, or as my husband said, cavorting, for us. We attended... More

Stayed here with a family of four. The beach is lovely but the cabins were awful. Ancient bunk beds that weren't safe - our 3 year old managed to roll between the rungs of the ladder in her sleep and get stuck. The "2 bedroom" is actually a single room separated by a half wall from each other and curtains... More

Came here for a week in August with my husband and son, had a wonderful time. We love the beach, and being so close to the ocean at this "beach village" was a bonus. There were amazing sunsets, warm water and soft sand. The chalets were cramped and a little outdated, (very old and squeaky bunk beds, old decor) but... More

Beautiful weather this summer in Nova Scotia drew us back to the Beach Village. The water was perfect, the sunsets still amazing, the peace and quiet just what we needed. Took some photos which I'll download. (Tried it once and lost the review. If this shows up twice, my apologies.)

When I booked my trip to Cape Breton ,I ended up taking a cabin for one night only to accomodate a family of four. How I wish we had stayed longer!Wwe ended up in cabin #35 which is the second row from the ocean, with a spectacular view off of the deck facing the ocean. There are two more rows... More

My husband and I have just returned from a week with another couple at the Inverness Beach Village. This is at least our tenth year of staying here, and you don't return to a place that many times unless you really love a place. This year, we stayed in two cottages close to the beach, where we could watch the... More

We had our wedding at this location.. and the location was both the high and low points of the weekend. The cottages are excellent, and for a group of people they are quite cozy if you can book neighboring cottages, as usually about 10 of them are located in small groups. There are 2 bedroom cottages, but this is misleading... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and were a bit disappointed by what we had found. The website is very misleading. We assumed that we were in a cottage right on the beach, this wasn't the case. They have two different cottage locations (which I wasn't informed about when I booked). There are some that are closer to the beach... More
