This place may be hidden from the main road by the trees, but once inside, you'll be glad you came here. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The included buffet breakfast was great with home made baked goods, eggs, bacon, cereal, etc. The hosts were genuinely friendly and charming. Thank you!

We had so much fun here! A beautiful Inn by the water, charming with beautiful rooms with great beds! Breakfast was delicious. Fresh fruit, berries, the works, delicious apple and blueberry pancakes, crisp bacon, great coffee... We had booked the last available room and that was a great one. However, Steve, the Inn-Keeper gave us another room for the first... More

Stayed 2 nights here after the Cabot Trail. Beautiful property, conveniently located. The innkeeper, Steve, was a wealth of information and extremely accommodating.. His breakfast was great, the young lady working remembered from the previous morning that I had tea with my breakfast. Nice touch! All in all, a pleasant stay.

We stayed here for just one night on our way up to the Cabot trail and really enjoyed the B&B. The owner was super friendly, room clean and spacious, and breakfast was fantastic. I would highly recommend staying here.

Spent the night at Duncreigan after three days of driving to reach Cape Breton Island. Steve, the owner, was fantastic. He is very friendly and personable; we thoroughly enjoyed talking with him. He wasn't completely booked, so he upgraded our room to the king suite overlooking the river. This is a beautiful two room suite, complete with everything you could... More

Best place to stay in Cape Breton! Steve and his family were wonderful hosts. Very friendly, genuine, sincere people. We were there in the shoulder season (not busy) and he gave us a free room upgrade. The room was huge, with lovely furnishings, and it had the most beautiful view of the lake. Breakfast was also wonderful, homemade blueberry pancakes... More
