We stayed in one of the wilderness cabins. The wilderness just means it doesn't have running water. They are in a row overlooking the bay with spectacular views. We had a storm when we were there and were glad to be in a cabin rather than in a tent. If you do have a tent, I'd recommend getting one of... More

We stayed in cabin number 2 for 4 nights at the end of July it was the most private cabin in the campground and only 55 dollars per night! We met up with some of my wifes work friends and had a great time! We did so much on this trip! The cabin is a bed and and table and... More

My husband and I, along with our dog, had the pleasure of staying here for a night. We had a very spacious campsite with a beautiful ocean view. We made a day trip up to Meat Cove for some hiking and chowder. Lots to do and see in the area. Peaceful quiet campground, helpful staff, office open until 9:30 so... More

My husband and I recently stayed for (unfortunately only) one night at Hideaway Campground and had a lovely time. The campground is pet-friendly and we really appreciated that we could bring our 2 dogs along. We stayed in cabin #4 which was very clean and the views from the lovely little porch are simply spectacular. The cabin interior is basic but... More

Don't believe them when they write on their ads that they have beer and wine... They do, but you must buy oysters or lobster to get some, and then can't get out of the restaurant with your drink! Hard to hear when you're biking in the heat! For the rest, ok, nice view but the very nice beach is a... More

We stayed in cabin 4 for 3 nights. BEAUTIFUL view! Delicious oysters. Very affordable. Loved how the campground had a laundry room as it was midway through our trip along the Cabot trail. Owners were nice and friendly. It is like indoor camping... no electricity or insulation so bundle up at night! Only thing I would change is the bed... More

We stayed in the Hideaway Cottage, part of the Hideaway Campground. I cannot wait until we go back again! Charming inside, with four + bedrooms, and lots of room outside for a three year old to pretend he is Spiderman (you know how much room that requires), and 6 adults to duck the webs! We had Oysters from the market... More

My husband and I stopped here due to rain forecast for the night. We didn't want to tent out in the rain so I decided to find a cabin. The campground was fairly empty so they let us stay at one of the bigger cabins that can fit 5. the cabin is basic but clean. We got #6 which didn't... More

When we first pulled up, we didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised! The registration desk was also the "restaurant". it's not a real restaurant but food is sold there. The owner is at that office and quite a warm person! We learned that he is the actual oyster farm and the only producer of Aspy Bay... More

The view is wonderful. The facility is also good and clean. We were very happy with this campground. We stayed there for three nights. The owners were great. If we did not have that great oysters we had at prince Edward island, then this would have been different. Still the size were not all big, I wished they would keep... More
