As other reviewers wrote the wifi does not exist. I believe everyone who works there has a programed script regarding the lack of wifi. Such as, "oh we have been having troubles for about a week, they are working on it, someone is coming to look at it, we are getting a replacement part....... They give you a list of... More

We stayed in a cottage 7/12-7/18/15. It was adequate and clean but dated; the mattresses in both bedrooms were pretty horrible (huge dip in the middle of both). The dishwasher was so old and loud that you really couldn't have a conversation when it was running. The campground has two "playgrounds" and I put that in quotes because they're both... More

This was a stop over camping site for us and it was horrible. Kids were running around unsupervised and screaming until 11pm! My young children were unable to sleep. The camp site was pretty much an open field with no privacy at all. We will never go back.

If you like sitting in a parking lot with the sun beating down on you, this is the spot for you. Washrooms kept locked. Wood sold is only bark. Very expensive. Cut our visit short. Would not recommend

We stayed here with a group of other friends. Having booked a cottage, we were pleasantly surprised with the spacious and clean accommodations. There was a large living room w/ supplied basic cable TV. A nice size eat-in kitchen with dining table and two bedrooms that had a double and queen size bed. All your basic needs were provided (linens,... More

The park was fine for a quick stop but would not have stayed longer then 2 days. Washrooms were fair but very drab. The advertise WIFI, but there is no such thing. You can try all day to connect and nothing. Better go find a Tim Hortons.

We love staying at Whidden's Campground. The staff is friendly and very helpful! The campground is always clean! The playgrounds are lacking and could use a major updates and the signal for WIFI seems to be non existent in most areas of the campground! It would also be nice to see more planned activities for the kids and adults.

We've stayed in many places and I must say this has been by far the best place yet - SO clean and everything we needed was there ... right down to the salt and pepper ... my step son told me, "I could just stay here for ever" ... it was SO comfortable and within walking distance of a late... More

I have camped here throughout the years---both in a tent and a motorhome. We stayed again this July, prior to the Highland Games. This now appears to be a spot where parents and the staff have no supervision as far as children are conerned. The kids are on bikes and child size motorized vehicles. These are ridden on sidewalks, up... More

As cyclists, we really appreciated this campground in the middle of a city. Absolutely fantastic amenties wise with wi-fi, an enclosed rec/community room with a mini kitchen (perfect for those of us staying in a tent). Please note that this is a private campground and not up to the same privacy and site standards for a provincial or national campground.... More
