I have stayed here four or five times over the past couple years. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Great location in downtown Antigonish so you can walk to dinner and explore the shops. I love their homemade full breakfast.

We have found The Victorian Inn a pleasant and welcoming place to stay while visiting our Children who attend St.F.X. The building itself is a beautifully maintained heritage building on the Main Street in Antigonish. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The breakfast (particularly the waffles) is delicious.

My husband and I stayed here recently in Room 1A--a mini-suite separate from the main building. What a beautifully appointed room. Beautiful king-size bed, microwave, mini-fridge, full set of dishes (including wine glasses and a corkscrew!), a night-light in the bathroom ... really everything you could think of. Great breakfast in the main Inn ... wish we could have stayed... More

A truly great B&B. The building is a lovely Victorian house with all the original features and this makes for a really cosy stay. the owner made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent. Thank you Terry & Jane Smart.

What were we thinking?? This wasn't our first choice in Antigonish but make it yours. This is a charming old Victorian home that's a feast for the eyes. The manager is very friendly and helpful. As for the breakfast, it doesn't get any better than this. We would definitely stay here again. Very highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed here for one night while we attended a wedding at the Crystal Cliffs (15 min. drive away). We stayed in the garden suite and enjoyed an excellent night's sleep in the uber-comfortable bed. I'm very picky when it comes to mattresses, and going in, had relatively low expectations of my night's sleep...however, I was very... More

We stayed for one night only in Antingonish. The building is old and very charming. This lovely hotel, is centrally located, but t is also very quiet. We had a room with its own entrance. Has private parking, great breakfast and good service. Definitely recommended.

This is a lovely inn. We stayed in room 11, which is on the first floor next to the dining room. It was elegant, with hardwood floors. We appreciated the hot chocolate and biscotti available in the dining room in the evenings. There were also several teas available. The room was quiet and had 2 comfortable armchairs. The inn is... We went to Antigonish for a friend's wedding, and decided to stay at the Victorian Inn. Exactly as promised, it is an old manor converted into a bed and breakfast. We stated in the Garden Suite, which is a private guest house in the back of the inn. The room featured a large king bed, kitchenette and 3-piece bathroom. It... More

We stayed one night in the cottage (1A), it was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. Tastefully decorated, spotless clean and very quiet. Included with your stay is a hot breakfast with some choices. It was excellent plus they serve homemade preserves. Close to restaurants and shops, a nice place to walk as well. We would love to...
