Beautiful! Victor and Nadeen, the owners, made us feel welcomed into their beautiful home the moment we arrived. The area was a little drive to the town and that was fine by us. It was serene! The house was meticulously clean and the breakfasts were delicious. We stayed two nights and our only regret was that we couldn't have stayed... More

There is very little traffic on this quiet road leading to a feeling of deep peacefulness. The place has been built with enormous attention to detail. Nadine welcomed us and we met Victor soon afterwards. We stayed 2 nights. We swam at Mahony (sp?) Beach which is sandy and loved it. Our meals in town were great. We went to... More

The home was very clean, European style, comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast. When I booked I thought it was next to the ocean but it was at least a 15 walk, to a unkempt beach, littered with thousands of rubber bands for lobster claws, and lots of seaweed. Not at all what we expected to see. Yes the owner... More

First let me say the place is top notch. the room was clean, excellent and very comfortable. I see a different review disagrees. there are curtains on the windows, you can close them if you wish. the bed was great and you are way out there in nature. Definately no traffic noise!. I came in on a large touring motorcycle... More

Due to a booking date error on my part, we inadvertently arrived at this B&B a day too early. The owner failed to advise of this when we arrived and after two hours told us we had to leave but that he would try to rent the rooms for the following night. When I returned home from my holiday in... More

This was an unfortunate chain of events. When our guests arrived, it was by coincidence that the 2 rooms that they had reserved were still vacant. Assuming that they were the correct guests for the 2 rooms we welcomed them to our B&B. Within a couple of hours the correct guests had arrived to check in. It was at this... More

We made a last minute booking for a one-night stay at the Blue Tin Roof while en route from the Cabot Trail to Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The setting is peaceful, the building and landscaping are truly unique and the proprietors knowledgable and welcoming. Highly recommended!

The B&B is a showplace right out of Architectural Digest or Better Homes and Gardens, but that comes at some expense to comfort. The setting is lovely and peaceful, and we loved the cats (Lego, Quarry, and Cheetah), but those gorgeous black stone floors meant we had to take our shoes off to enter the common area, and the artistically... This B&B is fantastic: not only is it close to Antigonish, but it is also minutes away from 4 different beaches (Malignant Cove, Livingstone Cove, Ballantyne Cove and Mahoney's Beach). The peaceful surroundings are breathtaking. We had the Beach Room (2nd floor) and felt quite spoiled: couldn't have asked for a comfier, cozier room! As for the food, the breakfast... More

We arrived quite late, but Victor was very gracious in greeting us and assisting us with our room. Oh, how I wish we had had more time! The room was lovely, opened up on to small sitting area with peaceful mountain views. We could have sat for hours! The entire b&b is very welcoming and beautifully decorated, but so peaceful!...
