My daughter and I stayed one night (Oct 27) at the Evergreen Inn, while in Antigonish to tour St. FX University. I booked our room because of all the amazing reviews this place receives, and we were not disappointed. Lynne has overlooked nothing to make your stay the best it can be. The beds were comfortable and cozy, the bathrooms... More

We stayed here one night and had two rooms (out of maybe 10 rooms total?). We enjoy having the convenience of a drive up room - no stairs. The view out the windows looked over a garden space and across the valley (albeit, with a residential building in the way, but very quiet!). The check in office contains the tiny... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night in August, on our way to catch the ferry in North Sydney. This motel is located in Antigonish and is very easy to find once you enter the community. I chose this motel because of the kitchen facilities provided and the room did not disappoint. Our room was a standard room with... More

We have travelled the Maritimes 5 times in the lt 10 years, and have used Antigonish as a stop over from Cape Breton to Lunenburg many times. We have been sorely disappointed in the hotel options until now. We used trip advisor to help us find a better option, and found the Evergreen inn. I can say without a doubt... More

We had no idea of the treat we would experience by staying at the Antigonish Evergreen Inn. Immaculate homey room with a huge bathroom. Cozy robes and slippers, delicious home made scones and muffins served for breakfast, individually decorated rooms

We stayed here one night during our Maritime trip. The room was very well appointed, clean and modern. Parking is right outside the door. The free breakfast had lots of variety and of course, the homemade scones were a big hit. Excellent value and highly recommended to other travellers.

Lovely setting, beautiful room, excellent service. Many extras such as a full kitchenette and DVD player with option of borrowing a DVD from the desk at no extra charge. Free breakfast is included with homemade muffins, cereals, juice, fruit, local jams, etc. I expected the rooms to be rustic, but they were modern and exceptionally well maintained with every modern... In over 25 years I've dreaded to find lodgings in Antigonish because of the general disparity between high cost and mediocre quality of what is offered. It is a lovely university town and now has a very worthy high quality Inn. We stayed there recently twice and recommend the Antigonish Evergreen Inn enthusiastically. It is new, well designed, well equipped... More

Antigonish Perfect place to stay with modern spacious well equipped comfortable rooms with so many thoughtful touches including quality toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. Great internet connection. The breakfast was top quality with a good selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, bagels, bread and delicious home made scones( called biscuits over in Canada) and muffins and some nice jams. We stayed here for just one night but we were blown away with all the amenities they provide for the quite respectable price. Highly recommend but book early as we tried to stay an extra day and there was no room.
