This is a small town hotel, it is quaint and very much feels small town. The restaurant food, is ok... but certainly nothing to write home about. There are very few hotels in this area, based on that... this may not be such a bad choice. There are 2cnd level rooms and the hotel does not have an elevator. There... More

I went to this restaurant with about 15 coworkers for a special lunch for someone who is leaving our place of work. When we were got there we were all put at separate tables. It was very strange and obviously not what we had expected coming as a group who had called for reservations a week before. We had pre-ordered... More

Calicrowwoman, Thank you for your response. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, And I'm sorry to hear you did not have a pleasant experience here at the Main Street Cafe. I did some research on your visit and I see your group's original reservation was for 19 people and the person organizing was aware that we were... More

I had to attend a family funeral and stayed at the Maritime Inn. The staff were very friendly and when we arrived provided us with upgraded accommodations to better suit our needs. Will definitely stay there again!

Do not judge a book by its cover. While it may look like an older style motel, the maritime time inn is located downtown, convenient walking distance to the university and area shops. As the title suggests, it is up to the standards of a higher end hotel. The food at the small restaurant was quite good as well, and... More

Look no further than this lovely Inn. Well located and featuring a fine restaurant, it satisfied our group of 6 completely. Impeccably clean, comfy beds, and lovely linens. Did I mention that each staff person we met was warm, friendly and helpful. They made us happy to be spending our money to stay there. Definitely on our 'return to' list... More

We stayed here one night as part of a tour group. Very nice, modern and clean property. Large room with modern conveniences. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Antigonish is a small town, but the hotel is right in the heart of the town. Enjoyed our staff, despite its brevity.

Was over powered by the musty smell walking into the place. Dread filled me as I have mold allergies. The suite was nice though and had no similar smell but does have carpet. The price I was quoted on the phone was cheaper by $25 than what I was charged. Probably won't stay there again.

Stayed here Sept 4th, 2014. Small inn, very clean, large room with 2 beds. Windows that open, quiet, nice area to take a walk after supper. Bathroom very clean. Charming little inn. There is a restaurant at this inn, no need to even go outside. Above average seafood, and other dinner choices. Reasonable cost for the food. Pleasant staff at... More

At $200 a night for a room with two double bed and an extra clot I did not feel it was good value for my money. although everything was okay nothing was over-the-top or what I would call excellent.. that will be spending a lot of time over the next five years like I will not be back.

We are so glad we chose the Maritime Inn to stay in Antigonish. The rooms are updated & very comfortable. The location on Main street is perfect for enjoying the picturesque town or for visiting the university. Parking is easy right beside the hotel. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. The restaurant has great food, really enjoyed the lobster... More
