i was most welcomed and made to feel instantly at home! Suzan, the owner, was a gracious and efficient host. I felt comfortable and in comfort. The Bailey House is a beautiful historic home. The owners sense of style and attention to decor make the home current but you never forget its history. Breakfast was fantastic. Suzan was well informed... More

We stayed in the Elizabeth Marm Bailey Room which had a lovely view of the Annapolis River from the 2nd floor. The room was gorgeous, roomy, well-appointed....well, just perfect really. The bed was divine and the bathroom was awesome. Breakfast was terrific. We received good advice from the innkeeper, but I do understand the complaints of some of the other... More

Very beautiful house, nice grounds, great outside sitting area across the street. No air conditioning in the rooms, had to use a fan cause it was pretty warm that night. House has a great location. Owner did suggest and make reservations at a great restaurant for us that night. Also very good with directions about sites and attractions. Owner was... More

Wonderful peaceful location, in super house, beautiful decor and attention to detail. Susanne was a fount of local knowledge and served us a sumptuous breakfast . Select early to catch the digby ferry and we had hot egg and ham sandwiches in a packed breafast. Would definitely stay here again. Enjoyed everything about it.

I must preface this review with the following: I have posted several reviews on this website, all very positive. However, this will not be the case this time. My wife and I arrived at this beautifully appointed B & B at about 2:00 P.M. on the 21st of July. We were met by the innkeeper with "What are you doing... More

Upon our arrival at Bailey House we were greeted with a note on the door and followed the instructions through the house to get to our rooms. one thing I can say was that the house was beautiful but my positive experience ended there. Suzan (the owner) rapped on our door and we soon discovered she could be snippy and... More

This establishment is all that a great bed and breakfast/ small inn should be. The property is historic, tasteful, well maintained, beautiful and comfortable. The gardens are a delight and the river view terrace and chairs are a lovely bonus. Suzan is a great host and perfectly helpful and accommodating, while being considerate of the guests privacy. She does not... More

If you are there for the historic value of the inn (built in 1770), then you will be OK... If you are looking for comfort, think twice. Suzan, the innkeeper, is very nice and knowledgable,, very opinionated ... Some people may be averted or offended to and by her character (she is highly accomplished and educated).... That is her, she... More
