We stayed at The Dragonfly for two nights in June 2009. All the other reviews are correct - very nice accomodation ( we had the Suite ), VERY comfortable beds, welcoming living room with many magazines, a nice breakfast with killer muffins and homemade jams. Cori is a vibrant hostess, who is helpful and friendly without being intrusive. One downer:... more

we booked our stay at the "dragonfly inn" directly over the internet and were very pleased with the communication with the management. our experience was almost perfect - we arrived late after crossing over from st. john, and that was not a problem. cori, the hostess who has been criticised in some comments below, had everything prepared for us and... more

We stopped one night only in Annapolis Royal during our honeymoon in Nova Scotia. We had a wonderful room with private bathroom, tastefully decorated, fully equipped. The room and all common areas were clean and nicely decorated, warm and welcoming. The host was helpful and made us a healthy breakfast with homemade products. We couldn't have asked for more!!! more

Driving into Annapolis Royal, you are immediately struck by the beauty and history all around you in this small corner of the world, but one place that seems to quietly beckon you with comforting whispers of warmth and peace is the Dragonfly Inn. From the luscious colors of burgandy and greens on the exterior and the looming poplars guarding the... more

The Dragonfly has a great location, a stroll away from all the sights of Annapolis. Our room was nice and clean. A good size, with 2 double beds and space to move about. Breakfast was fine, with unlimited amounts of everything. And if you have a dog, or just adore dogs, this is the place to come, with 2 permanent... more

We stayed four nights at the Dragonfly Inn in August, 2008 for our family reunion. This was a perfect location for a family with dogs and multiple family members staying in different rooms. The Inn is next to a great walking trail for pets and people and is very pet-friendly. The owner, who has two dogs of her own, showed... more

I agree with the previous reviews in that. the Inn is fabulous and the breakfast was the best we had during our 2 week trip in Nova Scotia. We are experienced B & Bers and have stayed at B & B's around the world, never with an incident. Please take note, the hostess can be very rude and abrupt to... more

We stayed at the Dragonfly for three nights with another couple the 3rd week of June. Cori made our stay very comfortable without being intrusive. The two rooms were very nice and the beds were amazing. If there was any drawback it would be that the front rooms in the coach house face Highway 1, and that can get noisy... more

This was the perfect place to end our Nova Scotia trip. The town itself is beautiful -- quiet but with just enough shops and eateries to entertain you. But it was the Dragonfly that made the visit. Our host was friendly and helpful -- and quite a cook, too -- but also gave us plenty of privacy. We had the... more

My husband and I stayed at the Dragonfly Inn during a week whirlwind tour of Nova Scotia. Cori, the innkeeper, was warm, friendly, attentive and a wonderful cook. Her breakfasts were amazing and her bedside cookies were to die for. Stop here if you are in the Annapolis Royal area - you won't forget it! more
