This was the shortest drive yet, being only an hour following our fabulous whale watching experience. (Saw puffins, seals, phalaropes, harbour porpoise, minke & humpback whales – took lots of photos of fins!) The Queen Ann is another lovely Victorian building & the new owners are very welcoming. The room was very large with an open aspect over the front... More

Great hosts and a clean comfortable room are what this convenient B&B provides in spades! The breakfast was fabulous, including the home baked items. The hosts are on site and in charge of fantastic hospitality. Annapolis is a charming town! The beds are fading fast, but we were assured this would be taken care of before long.

Kate and Lazlo are warm and welcoming....could not have asked for more gracious hosts. The house is a time capsule of a bygone era with all the modern conveniences discretely integrated to maintain the historic charm. The breakfast and wait staff was 5*. One small issue was the bed comfort but I still highly recommend the Queen Anne Inn.

From the pretty exterior to the beautiful 3rd floor room, Kate and Lazslo made us feel very welcome. The town of Annapolis Royal is a charming spot on the North Shore. This B&B serves a delightful breakfast, and we were even visited by the Town Crier on Saturday morning during breakfast. He alerted us to the Farmers Market that day,... More

This perfect spot is nestled in picturesque Annapolis Royal. The town itself is tiny and this B+B is on the main road. Not to worry. Very quiet --not much traffic. The inn itself is beautifully restored to the grand elegant home it as when built. Lovely furnishings and the decor and architectural features are top notch..our bathroom even had a... More

My wife and I stayed with Kate and Lazlo at the Queen Anne Inn for two nights on a tour of Nova Scotia. The property is well maintained in lovely grounds very close to the hub of Annapolis Royal. Within walking distance of all the sights, Historic Gardens, Fort Anne, Harbourfront and the local shops and restaurants. Lazlo and Kate... More

The Queen Ann Inn is everything all B&Bs should aspire to. Not only does it have the elegance and charm of a turn-of-the-century Victorian Mansion, it has a host and hostess who know and understand hospitality. We stayed in one of the smaller second-floor rooms with a remodeled bath that might have been a bit on the modern side for... More

I was on a week-long tour of Nova Scotia with my mother and we ended up staying in many different places - Staying at the Queen Anne is like stepping into another time and added to our overall experience of Nova Scotia. The rooms are beautiful (we had room #1), the common areas and the grounds are also beautiful. Breakfast... More

Stay here if you are in Annapolis Royal. Kate was very welcoming and really friendly. Rooms clean large and sumptuous. Breakfast, a three course affair consisting of scones and lemon curd, pancake stuffed with scrambled egg and ham or pancake with blueberries and a large glass of diced melon banana and grapes. All of it delicious. I think it must... More

Very well located; walk to most everything in town. Hosts very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are large, airy, and reasonably decorated (not overloaded with Victorian bric a brac in every open space), and a good breakfast.
