My husband and I stayed two nights on our way around Nova Scotia. A beautiful heritage property very well appointed. Bedrooms upstairs with en-suite bathrooms. Toiletries, hair-dryer, big fluffy towels. Windows that open or use the heating system. Hostess/owner Andrea a well travelled lady offers a service well beyond expectations. Breakfasts are more than sufficient, fresh fruits, eggs done to... More

Stayed here 1 night with the family at the beginning of our trip. The inn is very comfortable, not full of antiques which I like. Location is perfect; at the edge of town across from Fort Anne. Be sure to do the candlelight walk in the cemetery across the street. We had two rooms; one queen for mom and dad... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights on our recent trip to Nova Scotia. We were very pleased with the B&B. Breakfasts were innovative and very good. Our room was large and nicely furnished. Our hostess was pleasant and a source of information about many of the areas attractions. She herself is well-traveled and was a pleasure to... More

My wife, our 19-month old daughter and I stayed here 2 nights as part of our 2-week trip through the Maritimes. Andrea immediately made us feel at home - warm and welcoming (as stated in earlier posts). We would say here again, without a doubt.

Hostess Andrea made me most welcome. The place has nice warm ambience. Room was well equipped and the bed the most comfortable I have slept in for a while. More than adequate breakfast with gluten free waffles on request! Well done. I will happily stay here again anytime.

At the Turret is a beautiful house across the street from Fort Anne historical site, where the lantern-lit graveyard tour leaves from, and just a five minute walk from the beautiful Historical Gardens. The room (King George suite) was big and the bed very comfortable. There were lots of pillows and towels. The host, Andrea Boulding, is a wonderful cook... More

This is a very nice B&B, within easy walking distance to everything in Annapolis Royal. The rooms are beautifully decorated with antique furniture. The beds are very good with very attractive bedding. There is a lovely sitting room with a fireplace and comfortable couches and a nice front verandah to sit on and just watch the world go by. Breakfast... More

I am a frequent traveler and have traveled all over the United States and to Europe. I have stayed at many different kind of facilities. Of the many choices in the area to pick from, I decided based on the reviews, location and price. The fresh fruit salad for breakfast was some of best I've ever experienced. The location is... More

I am sorry that your stay was less than expectation. You are mistaken about a service charge -there was no service charge added to your bill - the 15% added to the invoice is the Harmonized Sales Tax in Nova Scotia, which was clearly shown on the invoice and is collected on every good and service. When your room was... More

This is a great place to stay in Annapolis Royal. It's right opposite the original, but still working Court House and Fort Anne and an easy walk into town or the Historic Gardens. The rooms are very attractively furnished with pretty quilts on the very comfy beds and nice decorative touches. Andrea your hostess can provide you with all the... More

We went to Annapolis Royal to stage ourselves for a morning ferry ride to New Brunswick, and wished we had come earlier and stayed longer. At the Turret is a great place to stay, and within walking distance of almost everything in this charming historic town. The Historic Gardens are among the best in North America and the Old Fort...
