A business trip provided a great opportunity to stay at the Tulip Tree Bed and Breakfast. I was looking forward to staying in Elizabeth's Hideaway to indulge in the whirlpool tub and a relaxing evening - my expectations were exceeded. The B&B is a lovely property with a great history and Sue and Ted are extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast... More

We had already imposed on Sue and Ted by asking them if we could stay with them in the midst of their attempt to wind down for a busy holiday season of their own. Then we decided to drive across the province in one of the worst snow storms of the season. So they had to shovel - many times... More

Ted and Sue made us feel very welcome in their B&B and Elizabeth's Hideaway was a charming room. They gave us recommendations of walks around town and also graciously reserved a restaurtant for us for dinner the next evening at their favorite seaside restaurtant in Annapolis. Sue's first breakfast with her broccoli cheddar tart and fresh fruit was yummy and... More

We recently stayed at the Tulip Tree Bed and Breakfast and were extremely pleased with the experience. Sue and Ted were very friendly and offered great suggestions for dining and attractions in the area. Their 100 year old home is beautifully decorated and welcoming (as well as spotless). Our room was WONDERFUL. The spa tub was a nice way to... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting Sue & Ted's B&B in late September. With the charm and beauty of the house coupled with the sincere hospitality of the hosts, this stay was truly the most memorable of our two week trip. Elizabeth's Hideaway is a beautifully appointed room and the elegant ensuite bathroom with the heated floor,... More

Sue and Ted made our stay memorable. The rooms were lovely and all our needs we're anticipated. The breakfasts were excellent. Sue is an amazing chef - some of the best breakfasts we have had. We were given lots of great recommendations on what to see and where to dine. Every recommendation exceeded our expectations. If you are travelling to... More

We spent 10 days touring Nova Scotia and visiting a number of Bed and Breakfasts and by far our very best experience was at The Tulip Tree! Sue's attention to detail is amazing. Everything we could have ever wanted was at our disposal. The home was immaculate, breakfasts were outstanding, and Ted and Sue were wonderful hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed... More

WOW...The Tulip Tree Inn hosts are so welcoming and their home is lovely. We wish we could have been there longer. Sue and Ted helped us arrange a whale-watching trip which was awesome. The room we were in was delightful and an added bonus was a small sunroom overlooking their garden. The bed was very comfy and looked so beautiful... More
