Beautiful house, very friendly owners. Bed was comfy, bathroom was great and the coffee was endless. The breakfast could have been a bit bigger for me but my fiancée didn't finish hers so that made up for it. They were more than willing to whip me up some more waffles if I so desired as well. We were in town... More

Hi Ben, It was very nice of you to review our B&B even though you stayed with us back in February. With you being an athlete, we are not surprised that you could have eaten more food at breakfast. We always ask our guests if they would like anything else so it is very unusual to hear guests make a... More

The house is so tastefully decorated and Ted and Sue Ashdown were so friendly and helpful. I wished that I could have stayed another night but they were full so they found me accommodation just down the street. The en-suite to my room was as big as the room itself with double sinks, walk in shower and jacuzzi tub. Breakfast... More

Sue and Ted were gracious hosts and were able to give good recommendations about things to do and see and places to eat. They will happily make calls for information or to make reservations for you. The room, Elizabeth's, was large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and hearty.

This place was recommended to us by someone who had previously stayed there. We were not disappointed. Sue and Ted Ashdown certainly made sure we were comfortable. They were helpful in making suggestions about activities to do while we were in the area. Sue prepared a very delicious and filling breakfast that was sure to get our day off to... More

Our hosts were wonderful, helping us out with restaurant reservations, giving us great visiting tips and providing delicious breakfasts. Their pride in making you feel pampered and at home was way above average for innkeepers. And Charlie the dog played his role in making this stay as unique as the tow of Annapolis Royal itself

Thank you Isabelle for your kind comments about our B&B and Charlie! We have to admit that we are not sure what to make of your Review Title but we believe you meant that our B&B and furniture is not Victorian in any way. The house style is Colonial Revival built in 1912. Our furnishings are a combination of traditional... More

Upon our arrival the hosts greeted us and gave us a detailed tour of the room and amenities. They suggested great restaurants and made sure we were very comfortable for our stay. The room was great with a large bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was delicious and prepared to our liking. The hosts were very attentive to allergies and... More

This place was a great location for our visit. The hosts were super kind and offered us a fantastic breakfast. Our rooms had the most comfortable beds. The bathroom was high end luxury. Absolutely lovely room. Definite 5 star accommodation.

This is a one hundred year old Victorian home turned into an immaculate B and B. The hosts are gracious and accommodating and the breakfast delicious. We visited in January and enjoyed an afternoon walk to the center of Annapolis Royal during a snow fall. The Town is quiet during the winter months but the architecture and Fort Anne make... More

The hosts are lovely people. They are friendly and warm yet not intrusive. The breakfast was delishious. We were served vegetable egg frittata, local sausage, fresh fruit and warm biscuits. Plus orange juice & coffee. A better breakfast than any continental breakfast I've ever had at any hotel. The hosts asked us what we would like the night before, we... More

Thank you so much for reviewing our B&B! We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. Our dog Charlie has been trained to stay in our back hallway when guests arrive so if they wish to say hello to him, he is more than happy to accommodate. He is also not allowed upstairs in case guests choose... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for a few nights in early September 2014. Quiet, clean and extremely comfortable. The owners went out of their way to make our stay a pleasure. Breakfast was terrific and Ted and Sue were wonderful to deal with on every level. I know where we'll be staying when we go... More
