Our stay at the Tulip Tree B&B was a highlight of our trip to the Maritimes last fall (October). Sue and Ted were awesome hosts - very friendly and helpful with suggestions for things to do in the area. Their home is beautifully decorated and welcoming. Our room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed and jacuzzi tub. The breakfasts... More

The Tulip Tree B & B is a beautiful, well-cared for place to stay. The bed was very comfortable and the huge bathroom had a jacuzzi, double sinks and, very welcome on a chilly morning, heated floor tiles! The hosts, Sue and Ted, were very helpful and friendly. The homemade muffins were a delicious treat at breakfast.

We enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay at the end of August. Sue and Ted could not have been more gracious. They were ready with restaurant recommendations and travel tips. Breakfast was lovely. We occupied the room with the adjacent sitting room and really enjoyed the extra space. They just seemed to think of everything...even a mini fridge in the... More

The Tulip Tree B & B is a beautiful, clean and friendly place to stay. Sue and Ted made us feel welcome and were very helpful with any questions we had. We had the room with the jacuzzi which was great after a day of walking. There is another guest room in the house with a sun room, as well... More

This is a beautiful, gracious B&B. It is a large, beautifully maintained house. They just have two rooms for guests. We were a party of 4 with my brother and sister in law and it provided us with lots of space. Our hosts were attentive, and welcoming. To sum it up, Tulip Tree is a gracious B&B with gracious hosts.... More

The room was well-appointed and the breakfasts were tasty. Sue and Ted were very helpful in providing information and recommendations. There are several B&B's nearby, but I doubt that any of them could have been any better. My only disappointment was that the location was not as close to the downtown area as expected. While many Victorian homes are within... More

We appreciate it very much when our guests take the time to review our B&B and we are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. For clarification purposes, our B&B is only a 5 min. walk from the nearest attraction (the Historic Gardens) in town so it is not a difficult walk unless someone has mobility issues. We... More

We were delighted with the Tulip Tree Bed and Breakfast. Ted and Sue were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed in the room with the sun porch where we spent a lovely couple of afternoon hours reading and enjoying the back gardens. Breakfast was delicious and our room was beautifully decorated. What more can you ask?

The hosts are awesome people and so helpful. The room is huge, massive bathroom with a great bathtub and double sinks. Perfectly located, quiet and welcoming. We had to catch an 8 am ferry so the owners made us a hot breakfast to go at 6 am.

Ted & and Sue are marvellous hosts and offer superb hospitality within their splendid period property. Whilst set within a tranquil location, we too arrived in the wake of Hurricane Arthur which had caused extensive damage throughout Nova Scotia in general and Annapolis Royal in particular. Mindful that no Restaurant facilities were available within reasonable travelling distance,Ted & Sue very... More
