Arguably the best place to stay in Wolfville. There was a warm, friendly greeting and a tour of this Victorian mansion. The woodwork and fine furnishings within this nicely restored 1893 heritage property were breathtaking. Our room was in the Carriage house (separate building) and was so small we were tripping over our luggage at every turn. Finally a B&B... more

This inn is as advertised: a lovely restored Victorian in a pretty neighborhood. I stayed on the ground floor of the carriage house, in the Sunflower room. It's nicely furnished and has both a TV and telephone. But -- contrary to what its name implies! -- the room is very dark. Even on a bright August day, I had to... more

Of all our 12 days in Nova Scotia, this was the weak link in our accommodations. Not bad, just too stuffed with stuff in the room. Felt too cluttered for my personal comfort level. We stayed 3 nights in the Webster room. A/C was SUPER efficient, which was GREAT in the abnormal hot spell that descended on this area. Breakfasts... more

We stayed one night at this lovely B&B in Wolfville. We stayed in the Nautical Room in the Carriage House. The decor was beautiful and the room was laid out very nicely. The breakfast was excellent. We highly recommend this B&B. Since we were only around 3 km from Grand Pre, we ate dinner at Le Caveau Restaurant at Grand... more

Victoria's Historic Inn is a magnificent property. It has been lovingly restored by caring owners and staff, and it seems that every detail, both the physical facilities and the service of the staff, is superb. The main house is beautifully and tastefully furnished with period antiques. Of particular note is the absolutely wonderful millwork throughout the house --- certainly the... more

We stayed at this inn in August of 2005 and are returning for even more nights in August of 2006. We have stayed in many great inns, but this rates amongst the top three we have stayed in. Shoal Harbor in Sidney BC and Gowerie House in Sydney Mines Nova Scotia are comparable, but no better. Friendly staff, great rooms,... more

The Victoria's Historic Inn is a superb place to spend the night, especially for couples. With many tastefully decorated rooms to choose from, there is sure to be one that will be perfect for you. They are all labelled on their doors by names instead of numbers, which is a nice touch. If you go during the off season on... more

We just loved this inn. We stayed in one of the cottages in the back and it was so charming, so delightful. I think the where this inn really impressed us was in the service. Any question you asked was answered in such an eager, thorough manner. It's like the staff could be busy, you might be slightly interupting, but... more

My girlfriend and I have stayed at several B&B's and this one is our favorite. We were shown several available rooms and we chose the 'Chase' suite. It by far is the nicest room, we had a gorgeous bedroom, very romantic bathroom with candles, nice plush, clean towels, terrycloth robes, wine glasses, jacuzzi for 2, and a shower. The third... more

By far the best hotel/B&B choice we made on our recent trip to Canada was Victoria's Historic Inn. The rooms are beautiful - even the small ones, and the suite we stayed in was superb. The most pleasing aspect of our stay though, were the staff who went out of their way to be friendly, approachable and welcoming - not... more
