We stayed there for Valentine's day. The room was ok, the decorating was a bit dated, nice hot tub, but the room smelled very strongly of chlorine and the hot tub made noise that kept us awake for most of the night. There was a blizzard over night that led into the next morning and didn't slow until supper time.... More

My husband and I stayed in the Gaspereau suite to celebrate my 30th birthday. The room was very spacious with a king size bed and the most comfortable mattress I have ever laid on. Most importantly, the room had a hot tub in it!!! We really felt like celebrities. The power went out for a few hours that night and... More

I did my undergrad at Acadia and was in close vicinity to the inn but never got a chance to stay. My boyfriend and I travelled through NS & we finally got to stay at the Inn, which has a great looking exterior. However, we were extremely disappointed, and unfortunately disgusted by the room, in specific, the Annapolis Suite. They... More

If your looking for a simple little getaway and touch of elegance this is the place to go! It was our first time visiting the Gingerbread House Inn. We stayed in the Gaspereau Suite. We were greeted with the very friendly owner Allan and he kindly showed us around. The room will take your breath away! Very tastefully designed. The... More

The place was very comfortable, warm and welcoming. Breakfast served every morning was excellent. You certainly can not complain about a hot tub in your hotel room. Very clean and quiet. It is not difficult to get to and is off from the main street enough that you do not hear the vehicle traffic.

Spent one night here in the Cornwallis Room. Look well in advance for accommodations if going on the Magic Bus Wine Tour. This Inn is in a good location but avoid if you can. It is dated and dirty. My pillow had a long dark hair on it and several flies were dead and dried up on the blind when... More

I got a room for one night last minute because of a cancellation - yay! Nice clean room, yummy breakfast, bottomless coffee (although decaf was instant only so I went for the real stuff), nice hosts, nice guests. I got travel advice for a day trip between Wolfeville and Halifax and wasn't disappointed. There a market that everyone was going... More

Spent one night here in the Cornwallis room with my family and I must say the room was pretty big, could use some updating .Great location but doesn't look as nice in person as it does online. Never ate the breakfast so can't tell about that . The floors creek , holes in the bedding , the windows looked bowed... More

Clean rooms, out of date decor, but beautiful grounds and close to downtown core. Delicious breakfast included and great service. We booked least expensive room: full privacy, large room, old beds need to be replaced. Lower prices compared to inn's near by. Very friendly couple own the place, would recommend to others.
