I took my husband to celebrate his 60th birthday at the Blomidon Inn. After reading a couple of reviews that were less than 100 percent positive, I was a little worried, but when I got there, I was INCREDIBLY impressed with the level of beauty, comfort, welcome, and attention to the smallest detail the staff at this Inn gave us.... more

We enjoyed our stay but we'll find somewhere more modern next time. There staff was very friendly and accomodating, the price was peak, but the room was: very small, very noisy airconditioner that could not properly cool room, tiny shower (We knew the room was the "Small Room"). Breakfast was a spartan continental. We only tried the Chowder and Salad... more

The Blomidon Inn is just that an inn, if you are thinking that you are going to a B&B you would be wrong. Our room was nice and clean but rather dated. Everything in the place you need to pay for including internet access. Parking was tight but we were there during Apple Blossom weekend. The bathroom was clean but... more

I chose this Inn because I thought my husband and I could have a romantic night away with a special dinner while he was in town on business. But when we checked in to the Inn we were told that there was no room for us in the dining room. We were very surprised to learn that we needed a... more

We stayed in the Perth cottage a few weeks ago. Someone should tell them to re-name it. It's a palace. The "cottage" is sort of a duplex, it stands alone adjacent to the hotel (there may be more than one). It has a good king bed, and tons of room to walk around in the lower half; there is a... more

Nice inn in a nice little town. Friendly staff on a very nice location. The view from the second floor is magnifisant. The only bad thing was that it was very very warm in the inn. more

We stayed in the Starr's Point room which is a small room situated on the 2nd floor at the back of the Inn. The interior was nice with a navy blue carpet, four poster bed with a stool, and air conditioning. A bit on the stuffy side when we first arrived to the room but at least the front desk... more

Stayed here in Aug 2008. We had the brooks suite. It was a very nice room, and the food in the restaurant was good. Staff was great. The one big downer was the bed was as hard as sleeping on a sheet of plywood. Neither of us got much sleep. Based on that, I wouldn't go back. more

We decided to give the Blomidon Inn another try after a not-so-great experience in 2004. At that time, we chose a "standard room", which was basically a small room with a large bed in it. Cramped quarters indeed but the price was right. THE GOOD This time we stayed in the Bragg executive suite, for $199/night. The suite is situated... more

Stayed here for one night enroute to Cape Breton...great location, lovely inn. Would recommend staying in the back section. Although the rooms were small, the air conditioning made it -- as it was in the low 90's during our stay. Did not have dinner in the dining room (only for breakfast). Definitely would recommend! more
