From the arrival to the breakfast morning after , all was top notch. Especially the breakfast! We felt like going back in time in a nice, clean and comfortable inn. We had the Crowe room and the view was very nice. We strongly recommend this inn, and despite the local folklore abiut Lady Crowe ghost, she didn't visit us :)

Loved the quaint heritage building with beautiful water views. The small pretty clean room with large windows overlooking the harbour. The lovely hostess and excellent simple breakfast provided at a very reasonable price. Pretty little water front pub with live music and decent food just a block from the b and b. Very nice area along the waterfront for strolling... More

So traveling with four (2 teenagers and parents). Had two rooms which worked perfect for us; one with a king the other with twin beds. Inn was impeccable. Rooms had beautiful water views which were lovely at sunset. Breakfast was outstanding as was the service. The inn is located on a quiet road just off the main street along the... More

All the five and four star reviews are exactly correct. A very nice inn with tremendous history that is situated on the waterfront. Shelburne is a very nice friendly town with plenty to see at or near the dock area. My only slightly less than positive comment about the inn is that the room we stayed in is rather small... More

I had to find a place to stay that would be accessible to my work in Shelburne and Yartmouth and after reading the reviews I decided on the Coopers Inn. I am so glad that I did after speaking with Pat on the phone about my dates and working out how to get there from the Halifax Airport with Bernie's... More

Beautifully located. Spent only one night...would have loved to have stayed longer. The room was perfect for myself and elderly mother...clean and inviting. Pat thought of the little things...a hand written card welcoming us, a night light, a binder with restaurant and activity options..and then there was the breakfast...wow...not your average B and B breakie...french pressed coffee and a menu... We didn't arrive until about 20:00 on Sunday. Hostess checked us in and we settled up then rather than trying to do it in the a.m.. Morrison Room--upstairs. Small but nicely furnished; in room coffee/tea. Even had a night light! No AC, but fortunately we did not need it. The small fan in the window was quite adequate for that... More

My husband and I recently spent two wonderful nights at the 1785 Cooper's Inn with a lovely room overlooking the enclosed garden and Shelburne Harbor. Warm, comfortable, and welcoming with every comfort well thought out and, a beautifully presented breakfast NOT to be missed! Even at the height of summer, Shelburne is uncrowded and a wonderful, historic area to visit!

This is an inn that serves breakfast. There isn't a common area except for the outdoor garden. It rained and/or was unseasonably cold both days we were there. As others have commented, some of the rooms, including ours, do not have an indoor access to the breakfast room. We thought it lacked the warmth and charm of many places we... More

My husband and I stayed at the Cooper`s Inn two weeks ago, while in Nova Scotia for a family reunion. We had spent the afternoon hiking the Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct trail - you MUST go here, too! We arrived in time for the complementary glass of wine at 5:00 p.m. in the garden area. We sat at an umbrella table... More
